For Absolute Power, I find it satisfying that all it the heroes were able the defeat Waller, Task Force VII, Failsafe, the Bureau of Sovereignty, and Waller’s multiversal army. This includes Oliver revealing that he’s a double agent (like I called since the start of this event), Dreamer being alive by escaping into Jon’s mind, Starr deactivating Task Force VII, all of the heroes’ powers being returned (and swapped and scrambled), Barry sending Waller’s multiversal army back to their worlds (making sure that Prime Earth will be inaccessible to the multiverse), and Waller being defeated after exposing her plans to the entire world. I like that we get to see Waller be imprisoned after all she’s done since the Infinite Frontier Suicide Squad, War For Earth-3, the ending of Dark Crisis, Knight Terrors, Beast World, and Absolute Power. This includes Dreamer locking Waller from accessing all of the heroes’ secrets and telling her that there might be something planted inside her brain. I wonder if Dreamer will ever tell Jay Nakamura that she’s alive, that she was forced to join Waller’s team because she has her parents (in which she found them), and escaped into Jon’s mind so that she can heal herself up, causing Jay to still be mad at her for joining Waller’s team (because Waller killed his mom and destroyed Gamorra) and to dump Jon (in which his appearances in upcoming Superman books show him staying in Metropolis) because Jon sided with Dreamer and that she helped him remove the Brainiac Queen from his mind and that Jay cared about himself instead of others (in which he’ll become a villain after Absolute Power because he’s a terrible and unnecessary character). I also like that the Trinity had a talk with Oliver, in which Oliver apologized to them for what he did, causing him to say that the world needs the Justice League again after their disbandment in Dark Crisis and that the Titans did an okay job taking their place (even though Tom Taylor’s Titans run is a retread of popular Wolfman-Perez Titans storylines that barely done anything). Also, teasing the upcoming JLU comic. Let’s hope that Oliver will apologize to the Green Arrow Family for what he did and for them to (eventually) forgive him in his solo series. Mark Waid and Dan Mora has done excell success on this event, including having a change in status quo for DC All In and teasing JLU this November. I was wrong that Absolute Power would be a terrible comic because DC events since Dark Crisis have been lackluster or terrible (in my opinion) and that there have been multiple writers prior to Waid not knowing how to handle this event. Overall, this comic (and event) is great and better than Dark Crisis, Lazarus Plant, Knight Terrors, and Beast World. For the DC All In Special, here is what I have to say. For the Alpha part, I like that all of the heroes were invited into the new Watchtower so that they can be part of the Justice League Unlimited. It’s nice that Clark invited Booster Gold to join the JLU because he knows that he sees the potential in him and that he did his best at becoming a hero for the past 39 years. I also like that all of the heroes all worked together to defeat Darkseid before they learned that the Elseworld (which hasn’t been used since the end of Death Metal) became the Absolute Universe and that Booster Gold learned what’s happened in that universe. Overall, this is a great backup and a great start to the DC All In initiative. For the Omega part, I like that we get to see what happened to Darkseid since Dark Crisis. This includes him obtaining power by traveling through realms to get it (including dealing with Zaurel, Blaze, Eclipso, the Spectre, and the Quintessence), fighting the heroes at the new Watchtower, and using the Elseworld to create an Absolute Universe. Also, referencing Darkseid’s entire history, including stuff from Final Crisis and the Great Darkness Saga. Overall, this is a great backup and a great start to DC’s Absolute Universe.

Amazing to see Nightwing once again take the lead of heroes way about his levels and who have more experience than he does. This is the second time and its amazing that the moment he stepped up, his leadership got full endorsement from one and all. Its about time he got his due recognition as one of DC's best, non powered heroes every written. The touch of him recording Waller was an acknowledgement of his membership of the Bat family. Its something any of them would think to do. Very good writing there. That said, i get the other heroes losing their powers but is it even possible to take Superman powers? I can accept that he would need time to recharge via the sun but taking away his powers wholesale? I dont know. Comic boys with the full knowledge, dont come at me with insults and spite, I am genuinely asking.

Naw, the heroes getting drained of powers is downright silly. Some sure. But others? Superman recharges in the sun. They didn’t suck out his biology. Same with Wonder Woman. They what, removed Green Lantern’s willpower?? The thing that’s so much it can power the universe and make one a Hand? Waller built a bot that can do what several gods can’t? Or did they just drain the ring… in which case it both recharges and there’s (literally) thousands of other rings he can conjure. Or make another. Flash generates Speedforce. Separating him from it means bad things for the universe. Martian/Hawk biology shouldn’t be changeable. It was mostly plot. Like some powers can be drained but most can’t.

Blaze, Trigon and the First all shitting their pants as Darkseid destroys Hell is amazing. Also… Darkseid having a Miracle Machine is kinda BS. At that point he wins. ‘I wish for Anti-Life. I wish to be God. I wish eternal pain and misery on everything ever.’ You can’t stop him at that point, Miracle Machine means he wins. Plot serves his wishes.

I really can't imagine how powerful Yuga Khan is... Darkseid tremble in fear just by hearing his name. If Darkseid has a true form and he fear his Father... I can't link the part, does his Father also have a true form which it was never said in any DC comic about his Father having a true form. The obvious has shown now between Thanos vs Darkseid. One wants to be a god and the other a real God. Marvel is probably scratching their head right now on how to surpass this. The power of HOPE will truly shine on this concept. Poor Hulk, Thor, and those knockoff of Superman., they will never be the strongest. Imagine if Darkseid fear his Father, imagine what his Father can do. DC makes the best stories compare to Marvel, I find the stories in Marvel dark, pathetic, they love combining their characters if they want a particular character to be stronger, they doesn't really have real substance.
