im really hoping for a darksiders 3... :( Even tho people disliked this game or didnt get popular i liked its story and its gameplay one of the top hack/slash games and all the designs/characters/backgrounds scenery were drawn thats what i loved about its artistry in the game i really hope a Darksiders 3 does come out i hope we play the female horsemen

It was a great game that I thought was actually too long. I got bored trying to finish. And I kept getting lost in dungeons not knowing what to do next. It took me forever. Then the ending was like....wtf, that's it?

Nordic games (not sure if this is the studio name, tho someone did) bought the game rights and rumors says of a possible sequel!yet not officialy announced, it's quite likely!hopefully not something on the line of ds2 but more on the ds1!

originall ds3 was scehduled to be released in this year (2016) but since thq went out of business and another studio bought the rights, the possibility of the third's release should be around 2017-18 if the studio decides to continues with this

What I've heard is that they are remaking DS1 for XBONE, PS4 and PC so it might be relevant to people again, thus 'resurrecting' the title. I guess the success of that game will determine if there will be a DS3 or not.

I love the game and wish they would progress with the main storyline, so much that I don't mind if THQ ends up saying Strife and Fury chilled while War and Death during the duration of both Darksiders 1 and 2

i hope Nordic Games is working on Darksiders 3, on the one hand i hope the story picks up after Darksiders 1 when all the Horsemen are gathered, but on the other hand, i wouldn't mind 2 more stand-alone games. i'm interested in Fury and Strife and how those stories are connected to the previous games, in Darksiders 1 & 2 the Makers (Ulthane and Alya) have the guns Mercy and Redemption that belongs to Strife.

Everything was broken into pieces, and those pieces were sometimes broken into pieces in turn. It's a good thing there was no Darksiders 3, where you play as Strife/Pestilence, or the fetchquest components would have been broken into yet more pieces~

I'm sorry I'm not getting the last bit of the storyline can someone explain because it goes from him sacrificing him self to bring back mankind but does war get absolved does death come back why did they show that ending of part one after death giving his life did it rewind time or did death do all of this in the past and if the council was carpet way even serve them they are trifling

if Death couldn't prove War's innocent then he made sure to erase the crime 4:20 . War doesn't get absolved because The Charred Council knew of Abaddon's conspiracy but couldn't prove it, The Horsemen only serve the Balance, they are not assassins. so they framed War, they rather blame him and the rest of The Horsemen for breaking the laws, the truce between the 3 Kingdoms and the destruction of Earth than to admit they were outsmarted by Abaddon because they fear that they will be overthrown. the story of Darksiders 2 begins after War was sentenced to The Abyss for a 100 years. it's in the past from a Darksiders 1 perspective. Death did die by sacrificing himself to bring back mankind, but War also died by the hands of Uriel who fulfilled the Nex Sacramentum (Death Oath) but her sword also shattered the Seventh Seal and therefore the Horsemen who died were resurrected and summoned with the others.

It takes place while War is imprisoned by the Charred Council. So the ending of Darksiders 2 happens before the ending of the first one.
