Sure. You can do what we call an "infinite jump" when you teleportslash at the same time you do an air charge attack. Pretty hard to do on console very easy to do on PC. (Jump -> Charge your weapon -> Teleportslash -> Jump -> Charge weapon -> Teleportslash.... etc)

Wall glitches are always so impressive to me. Like how the hell do you find these things? Talking about the one at 20:00 for example (the giant eye one I can imagine, I'd try doing it too if I was a speedrunner)

I mean once you have a tool, like infinite jump. The whole world opens up to whatever you want to do. So you just start breaking down what exactly are the things you have to do to complete the game and then find the fastest way possible to these points. If for example there wasnt a way through the wall right there, we would have just went around the wall and check how we can load the dungeon from there. Luckily by just testing around these walls you find these weak spots pretty easily. What I find really cool about this game tho is that most of the skips you can actually do without doing any infinite jumps. Only World 1 is different in a No-Infinite Jump run.

I'm trying to learn the game inside and out and do a 100% run on Apocolyptic difficulty, but I'm only just starting the game for a 4th time so far and needed to see if there were some strats I could take advantage of. Yes that is correct, it doesnt work in the latest version of the game anymore. But if you havent patched your game or can go back to an older version you can still use it. All you have to do is save and quit while the buff is active to make it permanent. As a bonus you can have all 3 levels of it active at the same time. It only works for certain boni tho (the strength and the critical chance/critical dmg). You get quiet overpowered with it : ).

I run this on PC, if you ask this question it sounds to me like you are running on console :P. On PC you can just bind Teleportslash to any button you want on the Keyboard...

Its called "Unstoppable Glitch" and basicly lets me activate all 3 levels of the unstoppable buff permanently.

Well besides at the very beginning before your first level up when you dont have teleport slash yet, if I ever use the weapon swap infinite jump it is very likely to avoid teleport slashing to a nearby target, because teleport slash does in fact teleport you to nearby enemys if it can find a target.

+berzerk fury1 you are out of luck if you think you can play glitchless without skipping things. Because even without using a single glitch there are a ton of skips possible just using the hellraiser combo ( jump/attack/attack/delay/attack/hammer charge attack) which is by all means not a glitch. However if you intend not do any skips at all, there is no run for that kind of category. There is only a time for a different category which I called "No-IJ" as in "No infinite jump", which tries to beat the game as fast as possible without using the infinite jump glitch.

Also you should know that this glitch does not work on the Deathinitive Edition. If you have the original release it works on every patch however.

You could use zipping, a Deathinitive exclusive glitch where you can zip where ever you want.

You can skip world 1 without Infinite Jump, however I can not recommend it. You need to get atleast the grapple. While you are in the dungeon for the grapple, you kinda wanna finish it and get a decent weapon as reward for finishing the endboss as well. Then proceed doing world 1 skip. Just in case you are interested in doing a speedrun route.

Hehe I heared this question a lot, but if you ever start speedrunning yourself you will notice it comes pretty natuarally, ofc you wont find something if you dont search for it. In case of glitches if you try hard to find flaws in a game and try all kinds of combinations of your avaible interactions with the game you will find glitches, ofc experience and a sharp observation help a lot too.

It is not a skill that you can learn from any NPC if you ask that :P. All you have to do to jump like this is jump -> charge a secondary weapon and use teleport-slash at the same time it is charging up. If you are playing on console that is harder to execute as on pc as far as I know.

If you are talking about the unstoppable glitch then it is necessary to make the buff permanently active. You save while the buff is active then quit, because the game forgets to undo the buff once its loaded again.

Hey, I've read that the infinite jump glitch using start got fixed in w/e DS2 patch, my game is up to date and since it's on steam I can't downgrade it (unless I'm wrong). So I was wondering, am I screwed with the fight against The Bone keeper? If so, is there a way to do it with the new infinite jump glitch or should I download an older version somewhere? Omg, I finished this in 7h in new game+, skipping all chests except necessary ones. No glitching or anything else. Deathinitive mode. Ps4. I could do it faster but as you should know, deathinitive edition has a lot of bugs and the game crashed over 50 times. My scythe was Guillotine. The first time, I spent over than 40h, doing all secondary quests in deathinitive mode too. Cheers

No that is not necessary at all. You could always speedrun the game at the highest difficulty and that would end up being a different categorie. But why I choose to run it on easy is, because the game itself doesnt really get harder at all... it only gets much slower because you need much longer to kill enemys... and thats not really entertaining and fun to me.
