She actually uses weapons of the Seven Sins, which are she shaped to be mirroring Horsemen weapons. Her sword isn't War's sword, it's wraths, while her other weapons have more of a green glow, which is color of the Seven(their amulet is green etc). Also she says she is envious of Horseman power when she reveals herself. So everything about her is showing that, she wears Death's mask, War's hood, armor similar to Fury's(and heels) and Strife's.

Now I know what happened after that, it's a theory. Strife fought as hard as he could with the makers. Two of them died except Ulthaine and Strife was defeated and vanished to another world, sending Redemption to the Abyss where Death will appear, and Mercy will be taken by Ulthaine for War. The story of Strife will be good. If the first 3 were this good, then the 4 will be as well.

Furys story was great, Wars was decent and Death had a cliffhanger sorta ending. Malo Man I mean it would make sense. I sort of see the Horseman as starter classes in an RPG based off of their designs, personalities, and somewhat the battle mechanics in the games. War looks like a tank, which would make sense since he’s named War. He’s able to take serious punishment and has an unwavering sense of justice. Death looks like a Berserker. Dishing out a huge amount of damage in a short amount of time due to his dexterity and short temper. He doesn’t wear much armor opposed to War because he needs to maintain his mobility for his aggressive fighting style. Fury, from what I’ve seen from cutscenes such as this, she is a mage. Playing a role as a support and adapting to an ever evolving battle field as seen with her different forms and her ability to use something similar to magic. For Strife, I see him as a Sharpshooter or a rogue. Dishing out high damage from the shadows or from afar since his weapons of choice are pistols. Rogues are usually associated with sneaking and hit and run tactics. Creating chaos in groups of enemies so they can’t coordinate correctly or to make it easier to pick them off one at a time. Shapeshifting would definitely be a key ability for someone like Strife. This view also would help to see why the Horseman as a whole would be feared across the three kingdoms and why Samael said that the council should have sent all 4 Horseman when Death confronted him. A tank to take on incoming damage, a berserker to dish out damage. A support to keep the team going and a rogue/sharpshooter to keep the enemy unfocused and vulnerable to openings. They work very good as a team.

So it’s kinda a complicated but war starts and ends the war on earth. He starts it, gets imprisoned, fury does her thing, death is simultaneously working on his attempt to save war, and strife is incognegro. Fury disappears with the humans and War is released to do his dirty job and basically try to get the council’s authority back. Death dies during this time to save humanity and absolve War of his crimes. The answer is not yet, simply because Satan and Lilith talk about Abbaddon and Corruption in the present tense, both we see die at the end of 1 and 2. Once we see the seventh seal break, death returns and the Horesman are all called back to earth. I’m sure there will be a 5th game where we see the end war with all 4 fighting side by side. 4 will tell Strife’s side of the story, just like 1-3 did for the others

Actually the game time-line is more complex. War starts the Apocalypse then Death try to prove the Council that they are wrong, which leads him to the future where the corruption is overtaking all realms. Meanwhile, Strife is doing his shit undercover and helping the others by the sides. Then, we have Fury who is taking care of the Seven Deadly Sins for The Council like it was just another day of job. Following the game she understands that all the events happening are part of a greater plan by the mastermind of all these. The one who wants to end all creation and is using the Council as he see fits. The Big Baddy is probably Lucifer. After fulfilling her task as a Horsemen, Fury unleashes her resentment and wrath upon the Charred Council for telling lies and not caring about balance at all. Now, she gains a new purpose and stands to be the protector that humanity never had. It seems Heaven and Hell are equal fearful of what Humanity is able to achieve if they evolve, maybe a threat even greater than the Nephilim itself. As result, we have strife that seems to be gathering all the information needed to solve this riddle. Looks like that he will take the role of protagonist and fight the true evil behind all the Apocalypse. And maybe we will get a chance to see all the Horsemen reunited as one and end this terrible fate, clean their names and restore the Balance, even if it means killing all the Heaven and Hell head leaders.

Darksiders 1 start and end, Darksiders 2 and 3 in between the events of darksiders 1, if I recall War was imprisoned for over 1000 years. So I believe darksiders 2 and 3 were events during darksiders 1, just different perspectives.

In the secret scene at the end of Darksiders 2, Lilith refers to him as "My Prince"; educated guessing would point to it being Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness, yes. Samael actually mentions there are those still in Hell that even he fears, in Darksiders 1, as well.

It's somewhat more complex than 1-2-3, really. The prologue for Darksiders takes place 100 years before Darksiders 2 and 3 begin. 3 ends right as the main story for 1 and 2 begins, but 2 shoots Death into the future where Corruption has consumed much of Earth. 2 ends at the exact same time 1 does, but 3 appears to end some time before the main story of 1 and 2 begin, because the Destroyer is still alive and Strife still has both his guns (Ulthane gives War one of Strife's pistols in 1). Hope this helps a bit. Sorry for the confusion.

@@Phkfgirj I don't think so. Lucifer is the most powerful enemy in the entire franchise that we've seen. It will take _all_ of the Four Horsemen _at the very least_ to take him down. Darksiders Genesis drove that point home and clear, but even before that game it was pretty obvious, given that he's implied to be at least as strong as Samael.

It makes perfect sense. It's set just before the events of Darksiders 1, and ties into that game as well. Ulthane helped War out just like Fury asked him to, for one.
