at 9:49, I really don't think any zss would go for nair in this scenario.. uair by far makes the most sense, considering it's her fastest aerial and it autocancels really easily.. not to mention the muscle memory of attacking out of hitstun to enable fastfalling

You are correct in your analysis. Mars is instinctive with ZSS. He utilizes her spacing and conditioning tools well. Drawing out opponents defensive options. Exploiting them they dont know what to do and panic under pressure. Mars has mastered this with his use of zair and back air to poke prod and KO . The constant pressuring sets up into her deadly punishes like more back air, off ledge back air, plasm whip, nair flip kick and boost kick. Very fun to watch. Again, good analysis.

Well I have to say, since upair is zss' shortest aerial, he might have gone for that in disadvantage just as an auto pilot thing to get out of tumble , and then reacted to the fact it actually connected.

I actually disagree with a lot of points you made. 2:09 up b was not even close to being true at that percent and spacing (Orio did a whole video on this). If you have a true combo that takes a stock off your opponent you should always go for it and not waste the opportunity to play mind games where your opponent can come back and rack up damage on you. 2:37 tea was already contesting marss’ landing space so nair would have been an unsafe option anyways. Nair is also generally safe as a spacing tool that leads to good damage and isn’t really the type of move to be saving for future games. 3:11 I wouldn’t say most of the time since nair is still useful for spacing. 3:30 he used side b to catch tea’s landing since he had no jump. Movement wasn’t a strong factor to marss wanting to use side b. 5:12 if marss had the opportunity to end tea’s stock he would have to secure the game but he didn't. He used side b to try to put tea in a worse recovery position but missed. The down b wasn’t used to throw tea off either; marss knew tea had to use the second bounce on up b to recover since he had no jump or side b left so he used the down b to time it so he could back air him. 10:28 the side b was used to either catch a dash in or a bad landing option (probably would have been safe if shielded too) but im not sure how this relates to aggression. 12:40 while this could be conditioning as you mentioned, I believe marss just thought leo would try punishing his safe side b so he up smashed to cover both dash in and jump in (marss does this a lot) Sorry if I got nitpicky with a couple things but I appreciate you trying to inform more people about the complexities of higher level play!

Wow you have a lot of points. Let's start from the top. Up-b even was not true in the first scenario 2:09 still could have been used to get a kill because of Tea's DI and Tea did not airdodge. When I say "most of the time" 3:11 in regards to Marss and Nair I am specifically talking about how frequently he uses the move near ledge. Not the optimal of the move. 3:30 When referring to movement I am discussing how he puts him self in the right position to execute certain plays not the intent of the move. If it is intent I specify that intent and what purpose it has in said scenario. While your point at 5:12 is correct. Think about the mind of both players. At this high level play, players have to mixup edge guards a simple down b not executed with a back air would have launched Tea back into the trampoline therefore saving him. Marss has to time this perfectly to get this stock. 10:28 relates to aggression because of how he closes the gap between him and Leo. Most players in this situation would not dare challenge Arsene Joker and would play neutral and wait for Persona to leave.
