Piano chord bar 36 timecode 13:03 there is no third in the left hand. It's Bb F Bb D (low to high) Piano chord bar 37 is F C F A Piano chord bar 32 is D A D F# Piano chord bar 34 is G Bb D G Piano chord bar 38 is C C E G One thing you missed here is that he plays a D major chord instead of a minor one, this is called modal interchange and it's a must known concept for songwriting. It works very well because the vocal part avoids the third F that way it doesn't clash with the F# on the piano I am pretty sure this this played by a human on a real piano and he plays 4 part harmony all along The piano needs dynamics right now it's robotic, all the same velocity played fff. The top line should be at higher velocity than the rest.

@@colinmignot6309 interesting! Thanks for sharing more valuable info. I wasn’t going for 100% accuracy bc I had like 2 days to make this whole thing, but just wanted to get a similar sound and share whatever tips I could. I dont know. Its kinda similar but also miles away. The drums need more eq-ing, too much highs on overheads and hi hat and it all around doesnt glue together in the mix with the bass (sidechaining?). The guitars need way more eq-ing, the lead part in refrain doesnt pop out. And although the guitars are recorded, they sound like made on a piano roll. Maybe use other plug ins? In the video itself i was skipping too much to actually here the results. Would be good to show more of what everything sounds like in between the talking. Just my opinion, no trolling.
