Darktable is a very powerful program. But I have not found any videos on how to use darktable for focus stacking image. If you can do it, it would be very interesting to watch such a video.

Darktable does not do focus stacking natively - but if you install Hugin and use a LUA script, it can be done - except on my machine for some reason. Tried to get it running on my mac many times but I never quite seem to manage it!

Thanks, Andy. Great video. One question. In your other video on HDR you did some processing of the raw images before you did the HDR merge in darktable. Do you recommend any processing before the HDR merge in darktable? Thanks.

I don't think it makes much difference really, provided you are sensible about it, and don't bring out any noise in the lower midtones of the darker exposures David.
