Appreciate the specialized build guides as someone who's only played a specific kind of Ogryn for so long and branching out to try the other classes. Helps a lot to make sense of the weapons, talent synergies etc. Keep it up!

Pick up Psykinetic Aura instead of Mind in Motion to get more cooldown and 1 extra point to get Endurance. Essence Harvest instead of Inner Tranquility since u are maintaining 100% peril anyway. Use Scarier's Gaze whenever its on cooldown and watch enemies explode

Some good suggestions! I didn’t feel Psykinetic Aura was necessary as my Scriers Gaze was recharging comfortably between uses (although I love mind in motion so I am probably a little biased!). I always support playing around with a build to make it your own! 😁

little tip, you can shoot the staff extremely quick if you quell right after firing to cancel the animation.

A. You can give any weapon you have "pierce" It is the "cleave" perk based on peril. Your shots will go through targets. Amazing on shards and staff builds. B. If you want greater longevity in your ability, Psy sword, illisi, with quell on weakspot hit, and drop the crit 2 shot for quell on weakspot hit. C. for faster CD, go left not right on smite and take -5% per elite or specialist kill. Costs same number of nodes. D. you can ditch lighting staff for either void staff to mix things up.

I did not know the cleave applied to your ranged weapons! I thought about increased cooldown reduction but I never found myself needing the ability back any quicker during testing. 😁

If you want good mobility, you can also use a dueling sword, they have a very similar mobility to the knives.

I’m a big fan of the dueling swords! I like each of my builds to give different play styles and use different weapons so hence the knife for this one. I fully support playing around with the build to make it your own though! 😁

Consider the Rumbler or Kickback instead, and going the Bullgryn route instead. Ogryn has the best stagger hands down in the game, absolutely wrecks elites in melee combat

Really fun build. Just had a Damnation run with only one death due to an exploding flamey guy and a chasm. I'm going to try auric tonight. I was worried about the toughness regen reduction at first, but once you get into the 50%+ peril range you're tossing out crits so often you're dodging almost every ranged attack coming at you. It took me a while in the psykanium to get used to balancing all the different things you have to keep track of, especially the cooldown after you come out of Scrier's Gaze. Burn that icon into your soul and keep an eye on it or your head will be exploding all over the place. I kinda want to try this build with a Voidstrike staff.

I’m glad you had a blast using the build. There’s definitely a learning curve with Scriers gaze and peril balance, especially with that tiny lingering symbol! Good luck with the Auric Mission, I’m sure you’ll smash it! 😁

Voidstrike staff doesnt have the bug where you pop after 100 on its secondary attack, seems to be local to the Electro one.

Inspired by this I decided to try a similar build with scriers on flame staff but going into the psykanium I'm still overloading despite just spamming left click.. does it not work with that one?

I believe there are a few blessings / talents that aren't currently working as intended with the primary fire of the flame staff.

It’s good to hear you’ve been inspired to try your own build! 😁 That’s annoying to hear about the basic attack on the inferno staff as I haven’t tried it myself. The ability does appear to be bugged and only working with some attacks. My suggestion would be to grab a version with max warp resistance and try it? Failing that, let fatshark know via the forums!

@@TheWarhammies I think it was Ryken who noticed that the flame staff's primary seems to be coded the same as the secondary. When he tested it, it didn't apply Empyric Shock to enemies. Probably a bug, definitely a bummer.

Why would the level of the blessing matter if you can just ROLL the blessings on, and the perks?

Higher level blessings have better stats on them making the weapon better but you have to level the weapon mastery first to get them. The lower level blessings become obsolete when you unlock the next one up. 😁

Warhammer 40,000 Darktide 😁 It’s on sale at the moment on steam as it just had a new update. I’d recommend giving it a go! You can get a free trial of it on game pass if you want to try before you buy. Sadly, it’s not out on PlayStation at the moment.
