As a side mention, I believe nets also deal corruption damage. I got netted on a ledge the other day and died very slowly to one by itself, and it gradually filled my corruption meter rather than downing me.

Actually the minute 2:30, the bar fills full for each time you get downed, even if you didn't get hit by pox walkers or hounds. That's maybe because to prevent resetting health by getting downed and reviving to half hp you get a penalization of 1 corruption bar. If you get downed and you have all the bars full of corruption then you can't be revived and you directly die.

I wonder if the Ogryn damage reduction affects his corruption gain? It would be wise to test a strike on each class from multiple sources to see. It’s a shame this is how we learn the numbers but so be it.

If this mechanic is correct, it opens a big opportunity to game the down system for free HP. If I am 80% into my last wound bar for corruption but I only have say 10% HP left to live in wound bar #1, perhaps due to range attacks. I could intentionally get downed so that my team can res me and I would get all three wounds back for free. Or perhaps more if you have a +wounds trinket.

Good video, but 1 little correction: The net from the Trapper does corruption damage.So I dont think the poxwalkers were doing corruption damage while hitting you.

I got a few ticks of corruption fighting pox walkers while on full or near full toughness. Could be a bit of both

I was about to comment this. I'd say the vast majority of corruption in this clip is from the net. Poxwalkers very infrequently give any corruption

Hello. I think that poxwalkers do not damage u with corruption - only trapper's net slowly adds corruption.
