Generally people don't get copyright strikes anymore these days for using someone's music in their videos (to the point of having to completely take down your video), unless you take someone's music and say it's your own. For some songs here the KZbin Content ID system will recognize it, and will tag the song in the description. That's not a copyright strike, but it will mean that any ad revenue you get on the video will be shared with the artist/you can't (and, ethically speaking if you don't have permission, shouldn't) monetize the video As for my music, you can use most of them released prior to 2024 as background music and just write the song title, my name, and a link to my website/socials in the description, and that shouldn't cause any further issues. It’s 2025 and I’m convicted to switch to Christian music only. I’m currently studying my Bible, scripture for scripture. I’ve already read it fully.. but studying it fully from start to finish is a whole different ball game. I hope to be fully consumed in God and have no care for the world and what it offers.
