Respected sir. I’m 19 years old. While I was in class 12 along with the stress of studies I crash dieted to loose weight. Last year during this month I first noticed crown thinning with turned out to be alopecia areata. That I fixed with proper high protein diet. But I noticed that my hairline was starting to mature. I started researching. I started finasteride back in July this year. As I’ve seen your previous videos recession before 21 is mildly aggressive. My dad has good hair. The problem came from my mom’ s side tho no one is bald everyone has a receded hairline. Recently I started oral minoxidil 2.5 mg. Plus I do derma rolling every sat and apply topical minoxidil. You also said that whey is bad for alopecia so I’ll be switching to plant protein from next month. I maintain a healthy diet avoiding junk food 99% of the time. I hit the gym consistently too. I think doing all these in my age is young but I decided to be proactive about it. I just wanted to know - is my routine all right ? Oh also I use ketokonazole once a week coz I don’t like shampooing a lot.

Well... that was quite the sales pitch! So does this Dr actually perform the extractions and implants or does he mark the head and technicians perform the actual transplants?

Dear doctor, I would like to ask you a question. In your previous videos you mention that after consuming 1mg finasteride for 3 months, you should take a break for 15 days to flush the finasteride out of the body to reduce the risk of permanently sides. So my siutation is I am 27 years old. agressieve hair loss since the age of 26. If I stop for 15 days will the DHT increase and will the gains I made in the last 3 months be gone? After the second month the shedding phase is over, I'm afraid I'll lose the gains and that it will be for nothing, because the halve life is just 6/7 hours I believe so (correct me if I'm wrong). Will this affect the gains and the hair loss again? Is this method proven scientifically? Please, looking forward to your reply.

There is no significant loss of ground if you go off Finasteride for 2-3 weeks. This is a tried and tested protocol. You must take breaks!

Sorry I forget to mentioned. That I already consumed 1mg oral finasteride and also 2.5mg oral minoxidil for the last 3 months. After my second month the hair loss came to a stop.

With all the research I've done (a lot!) I've NEVER EVER heard another Dr say "you must take a break from Fin or Dut" ... so what's up with this??? And not being ignorant or rude but I've never heard of such a thing.

@@hairtransplantinindia ... why must one take breaks from fin or Dut, I've never heard of doing this before. Adjusting dosage or skipping a day yes, but not taking a break and that it's a "must."

Sir from the past year since using finasteride.. i tend to forget things a lot .can it be a side effect?.. I used to take thrice a week….i am 29 I have stopped using it …been about 2 months .. however I have started to lose the gains …can I get them back by minoxidil and derma rolling and can I use topical fin . Regards

These latter are not DHT blockers. But lifestyle changes surely will help along with your chosen medical protocol. To what extent- you will know within a year of starting.
