Dear, don’t feel like that. These are just insane society patterns created to make us to lose the happiness life has to offer. I’m 29 years old, I love small plushies and cute/pastel stuffs, I’m so proud of be breaking these patterns to be who I really am. Never worry with the thoughts of others, your wisdom must come first to win all negativeness and just live happily 🎀

Wow… The first minute of this video felt like my sweet mom was speaking directly to me. She passed away this last Thursday evening after a month in the hospital. She collected teapots, it was one of the many beautiful unique things about her. The lyrics of the song broke me into pieces and comforted me at the same time. I’ve been waiting for a message from her and while it could be coincidence I’m choosing to believe it’s something more. Thank you for sharing Desi, it was a beautiful video. ❤️🫖✨

Sending you a warm hug. Somehow you will survive this. I was you a year ago. There will be a lot of days you think about it all the time and times you will be able to smile. Desi’s videos have been a part of what has helped be build a life after losing my mom. She kind of gives you a way to learn to be happy about small things. Another friend of mine lost her mom 8 years ago and she tolled me something that helped a lot. When you feel your grief at the worst, sometimes it’s enough to just exist. It helped me get through the pain, more that hearing it will get better. It will though, it just sometimes doesn’t help to hear, cause it is so far from how you feel in the moment. Just know that you are not alone ❤️ my friend also tolled me that with time, thinking of your mom will not being you sadness, but joy over your memories ❤️

What a timely video for me! I was diagnosed in January with several autoimmune diseases (including Rheumatoid Arthritis), so I have quite a lot of "bed parties" haha. A lovely reminder that we can find joy even when we're struggling. I also got Covid in the beginning of January and while I was only "sick in bed" for a week or two, almost two months out I'm still dealing with getting my "normal" back. I look well from the outside, I even feel well, but lingering symptoms continue on that exhaust me. People can see the the part of me that is functioning, but can't see the extra effort it takes when, for example, I've been up most of the night trying to stop a coughing jag. It's made me reflect a lot on the hidden struggles we all deal with in one form or another.

The music goes so well sometimes I rewatch Desi's videos to calm the noises and hatred in my head :/

I wish my dog was still here, so I can read to him. That part of the vlog truly made me want to burst out in tears. I’ve been working on being less emotional - so I’ll say that was hard for me.

Just realized I keep telling myself Im lonely, that Im unloved, friendless and that nobody cares for me. No wonder I feel bad a lot of the time... Gonna start to change how I speak to myself!

Thank you for the peaceful vibes. I went through major surgery a couple of weeks ago, and recovery so far has been a bit tricky, even though I am very grateful for feeling better and more appreciative than before for what I have. I hope you feel better soon and keep your high spirits!

As usual for me this time of year, I'm craving the return of spring. This winter I've been re-evaluating my 'self talk'. Usually I feel slower, more solemn and somber, maybe even stoic, which I've associated with being 'not like my usual self'. But I've been trying to reframe it. Nature goes into hibernation in winter, while our ever bustling society doubles down on efficiency and productivity. I'm trying to remove morals from my emotions. I'm relearning how to be steady in my self worth, and how not to give up on myself if I stumble or fall down. Even if I'm unwell physically or mentally. Sending you love and strength for your continued recovery Desi

Awe. It was nice to see you again! Wonderful video with a thoughtful message. I think making space to acknowledge you’re down is important, while also trying to move forward with positivity and self care mentally and physically. Your parting thoughts at the end hit me in the feels. 💜📚

Desi! I know exactly how you feel! My whole family got Covid over thanksgiving. It just takes forever to recover if you ever completely recover at all. My smell and taste is still wonky. But what I’ve noticed is that only natural and fresh ingredients smell and tastes good. When I smell candles the only sent I pick up on is vanilla. Nothing artificial. And only fruits and veggies taste wonderful. I kinda love it to be honest because only healthy stuff tastes good. I’ve lost So much weight since November. No worries I can stand to lose it. But it’s seriously making me so healthy.

Your videos are a hug that I needed, a kind word, a reminder of who I am and always will be inside, the small child in me. The comfort.
