Good morning! Your waterfall and stream look gorgeous with all the rains! I love to watch you and Houston fishing at the creek, it's so peaceful and reminds me of when I was a kid and my Dad would take me fishing but we went in a canoe on a small lake. Is your pond at one end of the creek and then it empties into a lake? There sure are a lot of fish in that stream! You folks are so blessed with such a beautiful place!

The minute Jerkface saw all those does...holy smokes...he settled right down! Catch, clean, cook...and ENJOY! Nice that Dutch brought extra quail to supplement the fish fry. It is good that Houston is learning how to harvest quail. When I saw him petting the birds, I was afraid he would be reluctant to participate in the harvest and/or decline to eat the meat. My grandparents had a creek like that, although it never got any higher than calf deep for us. When my grandparents first moved to the farm in the 30's the creek was neck deep for them. They would put their kids to bed for the night and then go and bath in the creek. This was in El Dorado Springs, Mo.

Cat fries lol. Here we call them Rocky Mountain Oysters I have NEVER heard that term before. I about fell out of my chair laughing. I needed that. I'm just randomly catching up with your videos and they're not in order. Houston is big, then he's little. One thing that has never changed is his gentle spirit. He was so tender with that quail even though he knew it was going to be dinner. He loves his animals but understands that they need to be sold. Questions: Have you ever bumped into or over one of your dogs with the side-by-side? They all run so close! Does Gemma come inside your house at night? Bella? (I know Bear has a job at night)

I think calf fries are a little softer than quail. Nice seeing a wholesome family. Looks a lot like mine. Try some dove. Tastes great with bell pepper and onion smothered in Italian dressing. Cooked low and slow.
