Great job!! That's a lot of kids . We had a cow not nurse we had to hand milk her and bottle feed her milk to the calf for a couple of weeks... before she would feed the calf. a buck goat might calm heifer down. The buck could actually knock the calf out. I have seen a goat knock a bull to the ground., We put a buck in with our Bulls and within 2 weeks the Bulls pretty much stopped fighting. And amazingly the buck stayed with the Bulls even though he could have walked out of the fence almost anywhere
@cowperson47635 жыл бұрын
Quints are pretty rare in goat births. The little kids are cute. Just wondering if you could do a little video on your breeding buck and show a close up of his face and horns. I like bucks with big horns.I used to have a buck with similar markings. His name was The all mighty Thor.

Nice video, have been raising goats since 1968 and although its not common for me I've had 2 sets of sextuplets. Which I delivered. Every one, and they kept coming and coming, and coming. What I had to do was put some right on bottles or put them on a doe with only one kid. A little trick to use is put vicks, which i keep in my delivery bag, on the nose of the mom and on the coat of the kid helps goats to except their and other goats kids. Hope your having a great kidding season. From PA, have a great day.

Absolutely not trying to be disrespectful but when Bear snugged in and stared at the camera before giving you a smooch, Dan, I looked at his eyes and was struck at how much his eyes reminded me of his little human "brother" Houston when he stares into the lens waiting for his turn to perform. That pooch is such a lover!!!
