I go out in the morning and let out my buck and 2 wethers with our great pyrenees and 2 cows. I feed all of them, and my 2 does. Then in the afternoon, I put the boys and great pyrenees back up, and let my girls out and feed everybody a little snack. Lastly, I'll go out around 4:30-4:45 and put up the girls for the night, and feed everyone. And of course, make sure they have water through out the day. We are setting up another pen and building for my boys and bull, so I'm super excited cause I won't have to switch them out in the middle of the day. So they will get more outside time😁💜.

Love your video! I really appreciate your tip about doing a smaller amount of work every day instead of putting it off; I just started working for a horse boarder and I instantly thought about how it’s easier to shovel one days worth of poop than it is the shovel two lol. God bless your family, you’re doing a wonderful job up there :)

My routine looks very much like yours. What type of pellet do you feed? My favorite part is milking, but playing with and watching the kids is pretty fun! Like you if I don’t keep up with the shed clean out, it builds up. I use a potato rake with an old license plate zip tied to it and scrape up dusty loose stuff. Then use a regular potato rake on the hay and for deep cleaning a potato fork works well. Last winter we had a big build up of hay and poo in the shed so we used the small back hoe on the tractor. 😀

Hi Delci, I love watching your videos, in fact I started my little goat farm confident because of you. Right now, I have 3 Wethers I will be getting a couple more over the next few months my plan is to get one in milk. Right now, my routine is pretty simple I clean out their shelter by removing any wet straw or hay clean out their water and feed bowls. Fill up the hay feeder outside with hay and give them their morning feed. Evening routine is a place their feeder tray inside refill their water for the night give them fresh hay. I will be putting a bench outside of their paddock so I can sit there in he mornings and watch them eat and roam my property, I find it to be my therapy and love being around them. I watch all your videos and have your GOAT BINDER.

Hi! I know this video is old, so you may not see this… I find it hard to let 1 goat in whilst keeping the others back? I have them coming in the same order each day but they push and shove a d the wrong one come in then trying to push her out and get the right one - how did you get yours going to calmly in order? It ruins the time as it’s stressful. Last year we had one in milk so it wasn’t so bad though still hard to let her in and not the others… this time we’ve just started with the 3 last week. Maybe it will come in time? Xx

I have a scoop I'm using. Some of the girls eat all of it and some of them don't. Don't do more than a 1.5 pounds a day. And if you aren't feeding grain yet and then start giving it to them, start out with a very small amount and then increase it slowly to get them used to it 😊
