Was there 62 to 65. Worked at the 4th Medical Dispensary just outside the front gates. Your video actually showed the windows to my room. We lived on the second floor. Many nights spent walking back up that hill after a night downtown. Thanks so much and "God Bless America".

We lived in Lincoln Village,we were there in 1975, my dad was Sgt. over the Motor Pool. His name was Raymond L. Fowler, some called him gator because he was from Florida. I watch this video over and over again, I can remember the stairs that lead to the basement. We use to keep our bicycles in the storage area and that is where the mom's would wash and dry clothes. We lived in the apt. building in front of the open field where the carnival was set up every year. Lots of memories, thank for sharing!

You made my day sir! We lived in the same building block as you but on the other end. My brother and I would go to the brotchen store and get the best bread ever and some fizzy lemonade from the grumpy old lady at the counter. That family's yard was full of garden gnomes. The baseball field, the school, the AYA, playing marbles... awesome! You were right about the ditch along the way to the AYA because I busted my head on the ice on that hill. Thanks for showing that for all of us - ? - 72!

Thanks so much for posting these vids. We were stationed there from 89 to 94. Great childhood memories! Loved seeing my old elementary school, or rather, the new one as you called it. Its very odd to see it abandoned. I believe it closed down in 2008. I hope to take a trip down memory lane and take my husband back there one day. Thanks again for posting.

Thanks so much. I was there 1970-1972, then moved to Augsburg. It was great to see the ballfields, the German gardens and the walk up the hill to the Kaserne. I jumped that fence many a time to go to the movies, spacebar and rod and gun.

Wow. Glad you posted this. We were there from 88-91 in 4411 at Lincoln Village. They built the skate park next to the school during our stay, skateboarding was huge back then. It was cool to see you go across the bridge that was over the highway as we spent a lot of time back there in the woods. Like the others here, its a bit sad to see it abandoned.
