Daron VS Gemini Jets, Which is Better?

A debate that has lasted for years. Which brand is better? Gemini Jets or Daron?
Throughout this video, I answer 10 different questions that relate to both Gemini Jets and Daron and give points to whichever brand fits the answer to the question.
I made this video to explain the difference between Gemini Jets models and Daron models and to point out their positive and negative qualities. This answers to the questions in this video were my own opinion and you may have had different thoughts and opinions on them and that’s okay!
The purpose of this video was mainly to show that Daron and Gemini Jets can be equally good and great models to collect. I wanted it to also describe the benefits of collecting Daron models. I see a lot of criticism for Daron collectors when there are good and understandable reasons why people prefer Daron over Gemini Jets. I also see criticism at the Daron models (mainly with the landing gear and scale size), I think a lot of people forget that the Daron Realtoy models ARE made to be toys. While collectors consider them as models, the planes are originally made to be a fun airline toy for kids to play with while being made specifically for Airlines to sell as souvenirs. I feel like this is very much overlooked for non-Daron collectors.

As a Gemini jets collector I would rather collect Gemini jets despite the price it may cost more than Daron models but all that money was all worth buying a nice realistic aircraft with scaling and verities to collect

Thanks for making the video. Before I actually started to really like aviation, I bought 50+ at least of Daron models, I would make tiny airports directly on my floor, my dad would help the planes “animation” in the fake takeoff and landings. I would have so much fun. I still have the “models” to this day, just sitting in a storage bin, under my bed. Now I have a model airport with Gemini jets and NG models, and a huge shelf, all full of 1/200 Gemini jet models. One of the reasons I even started to like aviation is because of these models. Every time I go to the toy store I always look to see if they have any new ones. (Just to check). Moral of my long story, you earned a new sub.

That’s awesome! I definitely feel like the Daron models are a great way to start collecting models at a young age and they definitely are great models to have fun with while collecting! The Daron Realtoy’s are one of the reasons why I got into aviation as well! I’m starting to get more into Gemini jets collecting now but I will always love collecting the Daron Realtoy’s 😁

As a Daron collector, I have aGemini jet I bought at the dubai world expo a few months ago. It costed around 50 bucks so it was a bit of money. With 50 bucks though I could’ve got like 3 or 4 Daron planes, but only could I get one genimi jet. Although Gemini jets has outstanding realism, I personally have to give it to Daron for being the better option due to its cheap prices and decent realism. Maybe when I am older and not a kid anymore I will start collecting higher end models. But for now, Daron planes are the better option for me. Edit: WALL STREET JOURNAL USED DARON PLANES??!

as a gemini jets collector i would pick gemini jets bc of their realisim and price money is no problem for me tho so ill go with gemini jets i have 64 gemini jets my personal fav is the quatar airways boeing 747-100

In my opinion Daron makes a lot of great stuff including Gemini Jets. Among my favorites are the Skymarks models.

I Recently bought a few new Gemini jets and I feel like some models their landing gear spins and some don’t which kinda suck But to be honest it up to y’all opinion On what you like collecting

I think you got the model planes on the thumbnail the wrong way round cuz the daron ones have the Ohio landing gear thing but Gemini are the more detailed version

4:05 Gemini jets boxes have a flap what you can open and then you can see the plane and the details of the planes are written on the flap

To be honest im not sure if this is a video towards daron as in the tiny plastic things or daron skymarks because in complete honesty daron skymarks have quality to them

I think daron is as a collector. Daron is cheaper and less fragile Gemini Jets is for people who want more real size and realistic looking models. Overall They are equally good in there own ways. I just think daron is better because I have been collecting since I was 2 . And it is my opinion.

@@thegrandaviator8308they are cheaper and easier to find and also they are for beginners who want to start a collection I have both and honestly I prefer daron because I can let my little siblings can play with them and not my Gemini models which break easier so yeah both are good just a matter of opinion

Gemini should win. The whole "durability" argument makes no sense. Gemini are realistic models that are meant to sit on a shelf or in a model airport. Obviously daron are more durable because they are kids toys. The landing gear is made to be realistic on gemini, whereas daron landing gear is incredibly ugly so it can be stronger. The "which box is more presentable" is also unfair. Most people have the front of the box in display. The front and rear of daron boxes are completely different, the front has nothing other than a cutout for the plane. The rear has clip art. I will say gemini boxes aren't the nicest compared to ng, but still look nicer then daron to me.
