My favorite all time Safety ever, Mr. Woodson. I was stationed on-board USS John S. McCain DDG56 in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in 1994-1997. Mr. Woodson came to visit my ship during the Pro Bowl, can't remember if it was 94 or 95 but he signed a NFL tshirt for me and was super nice.

Erik William's is HOF in my book, being Giants fan. He used to dominate Michael Strahan early in his career and I've seen Strahan be triple teamed in run game and pass game - here you got a guy in Williams just wearing out an all time great like he was a nobody. That Dallas line with Allen and Williams should be in Hof as a group along with Tennessee's line Eddie George ran behind they would just takeover games, beautiful hit em in chest football.

So glad to hear Darren Woodson reinforce what I have always thought... that Dallas would have beat San Fran if Williams hadn't gotten hurt. Why was Williams out late and getting into a wreck after going to a strip club? Because Jerry Jones, the joke, drove off the best coach in Jimmy Johnson and we instead had Bozo the coach, Barry Switzer. No way Erik Williams would be out putting himself at risk like that with Jimmy there. I know there was tons of partying going on while Johnson was coach, don't get me wrong, but it was done smartly, and no one was going to risk getting on Jimmy's bad side.

Yeah, problem is Erik Williams played right tackle. Mark Tuinei and later Flozel Adams was at left tackle back them. But he was the best right tackle in the league until that car wreck and it wasn't even close, even after he recovered he was still damn good, just not dominant like he was before.

Well....let's put it this way, one of the men that Woodson was talking about (Charles Haley) who is straight up fucking crazy and was run out of San Francisco because he kept trying to beat up his own fucking quarterback, and who most of the Cowboys' locker room was afraid of......got decked in 1994 or 1995 by retired Cowboys defensive tackle Randy "The Manster" White, who was known as the meanest and craziest son of a bitch in the NFL throughout the 1970's and 1980's. (Haley rode his motorcycle into a restaurant that White owned so White had to knock him out for the disrespect). Shit, Michael Irvin got into a fight with a teammate and stabbed him in the neck with scissors. These people ain't fuckin around in the NFL, they are a bunch of dudes you don't ever want to see in a dark alley. Even this dude talking, Woodson, he is a total class act as an analyst and was known as such as a player too yet he developed a reputation for just about trying to kill wide receivers who caught the ball over the middle....and he's one of the small guys....one of the nice guys.
