Kingly Street..I used to sing in the Blues Bar there..and I have eaten in Mother Mash a few yards away. Great food. Interesting part of London, I love it.

Upper class OTC bangers and mash there DJ. That looked the most glorious home cooked food made with passion and love. Used to be a favourite of mine and I love all that warming gravy with a mustard ketchup wow! OTC indeed!

Great introduction video of W1, Darren but that sausage mash had me salivating. Real comfort food with a Cumberland and classic Lincolnshire sausages. Superb but that gravy . I'd like the recipe how make it as it's the secret to such dishes. Well done again DJ on finding another OTC eatery.

Anything with mash and gravy and I'm so there!! Once again Mother Mash absolutely smashed it. That looked amazing!! Definitely OTC on looks alone. Nice touch with the mustard on the side...delish!! Luke must be absolutely kicking himself he didn't go now. I know I would have been 😂 When you mentioned pudding (yes or no) of course I was saying YES!! I always have space for pudding/dessert but I think you know about my sweet tooth now 😂🍨🍰🍫 And as for the filming, Steven Spielberg needs to step aside. 🎬🎥 Before you even mentioned it I was wandering what camera/s you were using. Definitely spotted the 360 one. I love the time lapse footage you did too. Absolutely brilliant!!! You are definitely one clever cookie. The whole vlog was a feast for the eyes. Love English mustard, but i know what you mean, English mustard for me, the heat hits your brain, a hot curry is an over all heat 😂😂... Love that sweet mustard, a bit like picalilli.. cuts right rhrough ritchness of the gravy. I agree about english mustard also creamed horseradish sauce , but if you mix them 50/50 they are great especially with a roast beef dinner give it a try

That looked good, Darren. One of my simple evening supper dishes, lovely on a cool/cold evening. Proper sausages, buttery mash with veg + gravy. I dont always have mustard but if I do I have the coarse grain. I have English mustard/French's and/or ketchup in a sausage sandwich. Delicious!

As a lad from Lincolnshire (almost 75 years old) I was brought up on proper Lincolnshire sausages. Best eaten with out mustard so that you can taste the sage and other herbs in the sausages. English mustard used to be home made when i was a kid from yellow Colemans mustard powder mixed with vinager and some water (pronounced Whatter). great review as ever.

Love a good sausage and mash. I know what you mean about English mustard and my nan used to use the Coleman's powdered mustard and make it up herself which used to blow my head off. German mustard can be mild and sweet and good with meats without overpowering. I only eat English mustard with a pork pie or in a ham sandwich, never with hot food purely for the reason you mentioned.
