When you or if you go back to krabi climb up the hill at tiger temple. But don't do it at midday. That is spectacular not tourist tat. All temples are free. You shouldn't pay. But give a donation.

A good start to the infinite history ,culture and learning that Thailand welcomes that's impossible to cover in a life time .One of the steps expected as a Buddhist is to shave the head and eyebrows for ordination even for a short while .I suppose it's all subjective even hair styles .
