I have done this for half a league season due to a similar injury. I had so much fun reliving all the bowling milestones again. Darren will easily average 180 by the end of this if he actually tries.

2:30 Maybe because one's shoulders aren't normally expected to twist how much they need to for both hands to be on it at the top of the back swing. I'm used to one hand coming off as it enters the back swing.

Darren have you tried to throw a Mix with some surface on it. I think with how slow you're throwing it, It would probably be a little stronger than the belmo ball. Also the Electrify BSY should also help you out a lot as well.

From personal experience, I had to take 8 months off right handed after I bowled open championships in June last year. I bowled the entire fall season of league left handed. It is not pretty at the start but a couple months in I got the hang of it. Took me about 4 months to shoot my first 600 and about 6 months to shoot a 700 on house. The biggest struggle is still left side spares 🥴🥴. No doubt you’ll be killing it lefty in about 5 or 6 months

I went from bowling duck pin, to 10 pin and could never learn how to make the ball hook. My brother asked me to join league with him, I could only average 160 was using 16 pound ball this was over 30 years ago. Cannot bowl anymore because of back injuries still remember the fun time's

Best advice I got from Belmo, courtesy of a Packy video, was keep your palm, forearm, and elbow in line on your swing for consistency purposes. I know you’re just having fun, but it’s more fun when you’re good lol

If the inflammation in your arm/elbow gets worse, I would definitely recommend PRP treatment. It saved me from surgery and completely healed my elbow.

Good job bowling off hand. I can't do that. So if I ever hurt my bowling arm or shoulder, I'm out for the season... perhaps for good. One thing I can say as a lefty no-thumb bowler is that you are cranking it too much. Try to roll it off your palm more. It might help.
