RG=radius of gyration. The smaller the number the easier it is to spin, or like they say rev faster

Love this ball. I was worried that it might be too strong. It wasnt....averaged 200 out of the box using an outside approach throwing down the 10 board from 12-13 at the posts. Rolled 20 pins above avg. later in the day in league. When it hit the pocket at about 13.5-13.8mph...crushed it all day. Love this ball!

We had a guy here in Clarksville throw 747 with the Summit. I think he did change the surface a little, not sure. He has described it as a game changer, and to hear Darren say it would likely be great for low rev speed dominant bowlers gets me excited.

Darren, I currently throw the Brunswick vapor zone hybrid (I know it's old) I'd like to try the summit, but would it be a good fit after throwing the vapor? Symmetrical vs asymmetrical...rg vs dif....any thoughts? I throw a draw starting midpoint, ball down right to fade in.

So I do have a question, as a bowler with decent revs and an average ball speed between 16 to 18 mph my current symmetrical ball I have is the night road and it has been taking a beating, do you think the summit is a good ball for a replacement? Hey Darren, do you think this would be a good fit for someone with lower ball speed and lower revs? I just started bowling this past year and am having a hard time getting my balls to hook. I use 14lbs which I know is probably most of the problem. I currently have a Phaze 2 and a HyRoad...... The Phaze really only hooks later in league (games 3-4) and the HyRoad never seems to hook at all.

Both of those balls are gonna wanna be used later when the lanes broke down a little. You need something like the summit or similar in strength for the fresh oil when starting your 1st game

I, a 2 handed bowler, just returned to bowling after 6 weeks of recovery (broke my ring finger). Since returning, I've noticed that my game has changed, and I don't know if it's a good thing. My revs (I believe) have gone down, and my forearm/wrist are cupping the ball as I release it, which I don't think I used to do. I have Jr Gold Nationals next month, what are some things I can do to help regain what I've lost?

Well your story adds up, my understanding is that the middle finger is kind of just there to help guide the ball and your revs mostly come from your ring finger so having not used your ring finger for over a month it would make sense that it’s weaker and losing you revs.

Love the channel Darren. You clearly have great knowledge of the game and throw a great ball. However, the know it all, cocky attitude (played off as playful) is a little cringey and isn’t very endearing to say the least.
