You'll regret not insulating that roof,also needs to be vented as it will sweat, just some friendly advise.

In the US we call them "skylights"; in the UK you call them "roof windows". Interesting. The way they used to be made (20-30 years ago) lot of leaking. Your installation looks miles better than those "old" ones I used to see. Thank You for the video. Good work as always.

Well obviously l missed hearing last time, that part 4 was coming. I was so confused when you finished last week, hence my question. You were asking us what would we like to see and I thought that meant Job was finished. You were kind to respond last week, so just consider me the “ nutter” subber☺️. I have had a good laugh at My misunderstanding and you should too. This is going to be a sweet room.

How come you have not insulated in between roof and plasterboard. Is this just going to be a cold space ? And if so wht plaster and not just tape and jointed .but looking good guys .

Yes there’s no insulation on this. The house has none, neither do the conservatory walls. We’re basically putting in what was paid for. I’ll be taping and skimming the who ceiling. I don’t like to tape a fill. I prefer to plaster the entire board. Hope that makes sense and thanks for the feedback 😊

Build and repair and restore I like the skimming the whole surface idea. Here in Australia they tend to tape and then plaster just over the taped areas and fill in the plasterboard screw holes. If it’s not done properly they are the areas that tend to crack.
