Having the same problems with the weather here in the UK. Very little flying been done for the last two months, had a brief spell of calm weather earlier this week which i took advantage of, but now it's back to real windy conditions again, and looks like it's set to stay like that for the next week at least. Windy conditions can be fun for flying from time to time, but gets annoying quickly, especially when it comes with days of rainfall at the same time. Lets hope things settle down in the New Year.

Nice flight! Some cloud surfing, something different! Thanks for posting the STL file for the rear hatch cover, I'm definitely going to print one. I don't like the lousy sticker one they provide lol. I have a couple 1300 3S batteries I'll use when I maiden mine, but was thinking of making a 3500 2S pack with a couple 18650's. That might be overkill on 5.8 video though.
@bonafidepirate5 жыл бұрын
I think you can get some real flight time with the 18650s. I like the extra punch with the 3S though, and I already had them wasting away so I put them to good use... lol I will probably try the 1500s as soon as I swap the connectors to XT30s.

I do want to try those out! lol I have an order in at Banggood waiting to ship, but I'm not sure when I'll get them. That Matek vTX is using the same RF module that I used for the vTX on the Esky Eagle, so it should be pretty comparable, but likely with better power filtering than I have on mine... lol I'm mostly looking forward to see how their receiver performs.

you should be able to disable 5ghz on your router and run just 2.4ghz, i dont have any need to do it in my house as i dont fly from it but my router allows me t turn off 5ghz if i want.

Yeah I'll do that before flying 5.8 in the past... lol My old router was set up that way, I just never thought to do it with the new one.
