As much as I would like this story to continue, I’m glad this classic was not ruined by a bad sequel or prequel.

A sequel would ruin the conclusion of this game. Soa's fate had been defied, Melbu Frahma is dead and the God of Destruction and Divine Tree are destroyed. What else to do? Suddenly pulling out a villain out of nowhere is a bad move. Let everyone got the ending they deserved where they moved on with their life. A prequel where we can have a better understanding of remaining 105 species and how powerful the Winglies were and how many Dragoons that joined Dragon Campaign, what Vellweb, Kadessa, Flavnel, Mayfil looked like during their prime 11000 years ago would be nice.

I wonder what were the other 102 species that were born from the fruits of the Divine Tree? I already know that the Minintos, Gigantos, Dragons, Humans, Winglies and Virage Embryo being the advanced species born from the fruit. But what about the other species born from the Divine Tree? Are they the Goblins, Orcs, Trolls, Dark Elves, Mermaids, Harpies, Minotaurs, Gnomes, Pucks, Gargoyles, those weird feline centaur hunters? What about the wildlife of the world like the wolves, those weird looking chipmunk raptors, those strange anteater looking beasts that people call horses for some reason, birds, mammoths, sea creatures and insects? Do they count as the species born from the Divine Tree? What was the 96th species that went extinct? What kind of creatures were they? And most of all, how is a giant embryo the size of a moon considered a species at all? I mean the purpose of the virage embryo is to birth the God of Destruction which is basically a singular being with god like power. How could one single god be considered a species? Wouldn’t it make more sense for the Virages to be the 108th and final species to be born from the fruit and the God of Destruction be their leader? I mean the Virages are basically born as an artificial weapon from the Virage Embryo. The reason why the Virages are loyal to Meblu Framha and his fellow Winglies is because he had the soul of the God of Destruction in him.

I think that is the case regarding the species of Endiness. During the Winglies vile reign, those loyal to Melbu Frahma probably wiped who knows how many *sentient* races be those who resisted the tyrant's might and/or they slew for sh*ts & giggles. Rose mentioned that one of the Dragoons who died in the Dragon Campaign, Damia, was born from the union of a Human and a Mermaid. Perhaps they were made extinct or pushed frighteningly close to it. Perhaps them and any others are very rare and seclusive like modern Winglies are? I like to think them and many other species and cultures exists on and around that massive continent to the east of Endiness we never explore. The game only mentions it offhandedly during Albert courage test in Aglis. With "Minister Noish" claiming that the barbarian tribes from the east were attacking Basil.

@@gjtruedo the Barbarians tribes consists Humans, Dark Elves, Orcs, Goblins, Gigantos, Merfolk, Minotaur, Cyclops, Gnomes or another stranger looking humanoid race? And as for the countries outside of Endiness’s borders, what are the name of these nations, what culture do they have, what kind of governing body or monarchy system do they have and are they based off of Middle Eastern countries, Eastern European countries, South East Asian Countries, Far East Asian Countries, the Native American Tribes or the ancient empires of South and Central America?

she most likely wanted to save the world in memory of her friends who sacrificed themselves so that they could be free from winglies' domination. imagine you saved the world. then someone told you that you broke the cage that was a host to an evil thing. them they even show you the research that went into how the winglies controlled that thing. everything you and your friends did will be in vain.

At Shirley's Shrine, after the fight with Drake and Shirley gives the party a spiritual test, Shirley says something about the young man (Dart) will awaken the old Rose. Dart was important to her journey. Shirley also said the journey would be full of perils and won't be easy or something along that line. During the end of Chapter 2, Rose started to smile again and she talked about the Choker she had on. She gradually opens up throughout the story. One of my favorite Rose lines is sometime towards the end of Chapter 4 before the moon where she tells Dart she misses the time he was being chased by Feyrbrand .
