Obviously, this shows that while we think Palpatine is the true phantom menace, there's always a bigger fish... Everyone on Naboo supported Jar Jar for a senatorial role to get him as far away from Naboo as possible. With his duties largely confining him to Coruscant the people of Naboo hoped they could live out the rest of their lives in peace.

This made me laugh so much, I needed a good ten minutes so I could type out this comment! I did wonder, of Naboo's best and brightest, they forwarded Jar Jar as their representative. Ironic that the Separatist movement and breakup of the Republic coincided with Jar Jar's arrival on Coruscant.... Padme Amidala on the other hand was smart, passionate, principled and insanely hot. Like seriously hot. Wait what were we talking about? Oh yes, Jar Jar was sent away as far as possible from Naboo. Looks like the Galactic Empire might have immediately dispatched him on the earliest expedition of the Unknown Regions to allow the galaxy to have peace also. "And as my first act with this new authority, in recognition of services rendered to the Republic, now an Empire, and for services rendered to the Office of Chancellor and the galaxy, and to the Senate, I hereby dub thee Jar Jar of Naboo, as Galactic Chief Explorer. Go forth to the New Worlds and do your part." - The Emperor on the day the "One Way Ship" was sent out beyond the Outer Rim.... it is rumoured that the ship got lost in the Unknown Regions, though many of its crew's last messages to the Core suggested that many had gone mad before the ship stopped sending back signals. Historians also attribute many a planetary conflict materialising along the projected flight path the One Way Ship had taken as possibly being related to Jar Jar's expedition. In all seriousness though, I liked Jar Jar and he is infinitely better than Rey. I wish we had seen the proper sequels and proper new characters and story that Lucas intended in his sequels (which he left them). Instead of this "thing" whatever you call TFA and TLJ.

I honestly hated Padmé as a kid because I found her annoying, but when I got older(and started understanding Star Wars politics) I realized that she was a hypocrite who lived off of idealism and delusions. Talks about peace while she helps Anakin destroy a massive dreadnought. Same story when she fought off battle droids, etc. She's kinda like Gohan, wants peace in every way but will harm others to get it.

It's pretty well established that George Lucas planned to go with *Darth Jar Jar,* with the big reveal happening in episode 2 (causing everyone to watch episode 1 again with a new perspective, go on watch TPM assuming Darth Jar Jar and pick out the clues and consider, that in that light _it's a great film)_ instead of in the same movie he's introduced in, like with *Yoda* in TESB. But he was frightened off by the _fanboy hate_ over TPM Jar Jar and chickened out. So in effect the prequels were ruined by the fans complaints causing Lucas to change course. A evil mastermind who no one realises is an evil mastermind is in some way more scary than the intimidating bad guy. You know as soon as you see him not to annoy *Vader* and avoid him (Okay, there was admiral Motti on the Death Star, but he was a special kind of arrogant and stupid), but you'd be tempted to tell Jar Jar Binks to piss off or even slap him (or grab his tongue…), yet he could kill you (or worse) with a thought, that is disturbing. Then by the end of episode 3 Lucas was so sick of the hate and complaints that he sold the entire franchise off to *Disney* just to be rid of it, not because he needed the money (seriously? when he couldn't build a studio in an exclusive district, he sold it for _low income housing just to piss off the neighbors_ who had complained about the plans to build the special effects studio), he was sick of the fans. That's right, the reason Disney owns the Star Wars intellectual property is because *George Lucas can't stand dealing with Star Wars fans anymore.* But I think the final word on are some Star Wars fans toxic should go to the actress who played *Rose* in TLJ. If someone could just contact her on her social media to ask her, that'd be good, _we can wait._

Actually, more of Lucas's interviews intimate that the reveal for Jar Jar wasn't that he was a dark side user, but something else. Most of the Darth Jar Jar evidence equally proves that he may be a force user like a Force Adept and may have been used as the counterbalance for both sides of the force. Also the episode that is sited here was supposedly done under Lucas's review and comments so having him dress as a Jedi, be force sensitive and commune with wildlife and natural creatures, and do the things he did mark him as a light side user.

Once again most of the evidence for Darth Jar Jar also points to Jar Jar the Force Adept and Tool of the Force. This episode is sometimes pointed to what Jar Jar was supposed to become in the movies, and that his klutziness was the force using Jar Jar's lack of conscious connection and training to the force to use him to enact change and balance.

I was thinking last night while I was drifting to sleep, what if you guys did a video about the average lifespan of a variety of species in the Galaxy? My wife and I watched Solo yesterday and this idea came to me when Chewie mentions he's over 100 years old. I also know Hutts can live several centuries so I thought it would be cool to learn about everything's lifespans.

Calling the twi'lek "not human" is racism, if a homo sapiens does it. Expalnation: a species is a group of organisms capable of reproducing with each other, making fertile offspring similar to themselves. We have seen humans and twi'lek couples producing offspring likely fertile, and similar to both parents. Unlike the asari the offspring is in 50% of the cases human, and also sometimes carries twi'lek pigments. The twi'lek are humans too.

JarJar was probably made jr Representative to get rid of him. From Phantom Menace we learn JarJar caused chaos & was banished by the the Gungan leaders. This probably means the incident that his clumsiness effect the Gungan leaders & they were tired of him. However, the events of Phantom Menace made him a hero to the Gungan people. This meant they couldn't banish him, but they still didn't want him around. To get around this they made him there representative on Corusant . Being a hero made it easy to get him elected. This made him Corusant's problem. They probably assume he won't be too big a problem for Naboo as long as there is a Senator from Naboo to handle official business.

In all of my honest opinion I think that Jar Jar is force sensitive, but not a sith or Jedi. Just a force sensitive that uses the Force Instinctively without knowing it. He hasn't too much power, but the Force heightens his senses without knowing it. There was a bounty Hunter killed by maul before phantom Menace and he was force sensitive and didn't know he was Instinctively using the force. He called it luck, but maul, who is thirsty for blood lust knows otherwise and wants to kill him, just because he's using the force at all.

The situation on Rodia, for me, was always a sign that things were going to get worse, for planets trying to stay out of the fighting before they got better. This basically shows that the Republic needed to try and at least have a small. Military presence on their worlds, all in all, Palpatine's master plan is working!

While Jar Jar Binks may have been force sensitive I don't think in any way he could have been a Sith lord. While the force may try to balance itself its the motives of the people using it that bring it out of balance. To be honest I think Jar Jar was the greatest gray jedi in that he had no real motives. His use of the force would sway back and forth between who ever was in the room. Carrying forward of what the force needed of those motivated individuals without really doing anything himself. to quote Futurama, if you do too much people get dependent on you. And if you do nothing, they lose hope…when you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

Off topic question since this is your latest video. If all the clones were the same. Why were some clones shooting left handed and some right handed? Not tactical ambidextrous. In the movies you can see them rush into battle shooting from their left or right hand.

I think some of the scenes in movies were filmed with military advisors to provide the live action authentic feel. It would stand to reason some of those shooters were left handed. Outside of that I would guess choosing a dominant hand starts at an early age, and could be individually decided in the clones formative years. Nothing to support this, just writing down thoughts.

@@FatalDaveO I agree, but how "ruthless" the kaminoans were with "perfect"clones it just made me wonder why they didn't enforce one hand uniformity. Like the British did for a long time. They enforced right hand only training, since their weapons were designed for right hand.

It would be safe to assume the Kaminoans were seeking a uniformed product, with the same combat effectiveness across the spectrum (barring special units of course). Unless there is an unknown reason being left handed would make a clone less combat effective I don't see why they would have an issue with it. I am curious as well if eye dominance/hand preference is a trait that carries over in cloning or is it something learned/self taught as you age?
