Just picked up this lightsaber from Vader sabers. Very solid hilt, smooth swing is crazzyyyyy! Gesture controls are way cooler than I thought as well!

The book Dark Deciple was based off an unused Clone Wars script. But several digital assets were made. When they animated the Maul/Ashoka fight. They just repurposed the digital prop they already had in the library. Seriously that's it.

Hey I got a maul saber and it didn't have a covertech wheel. Is it possible to put one on?

I think mine came with the cover tech so check the hilt and see if there is a whole set for it. If so they may have forgot to pack in a wheel for it.

How is the 2nd half related to ventress when maul pretty much made that half to rebuild his saber back into a saberstaff ?

The other half is Ventress lightsaber from the Dark Disciple book. She lost it during a fights in the book she says lightsaber can be found in all the black markets. It is said Maul got that half of the saber at a market to rebuild his staff. Very good review. I'm tempted to get the set, but I'd have to see if I could get it to use shorter than the 28 inch blades, because it would just be too awkward to swing. If VS would just sell the Ventress hilt itself, it would be a done deal for me.

I'm guessing VS really got slammed over the Labor Day weekend with sales, because my order (Wren's rising hilt) from Sept. 4th is still only in Confirmed status. Which is weird since they usually had my orders shipped in 5 working days. I'm disheartened by this, because my hilt (Ezra's hilt), from UW that I preordered Sept 7th is going to arrive (Sept 18th), before this one even ships.

Yeah I don’t think this one comes as single hilts. They are pre packaged sets.

Not sure how this seller is or how long it's going to take to be delivered though, so I'm taking a big chance on them, but I have high hopes.

Art sabers seems to only offer the xeno v3 version. Priced at $472 and Vader’s sabers xeno v3 is $459. Vader’s also offers higher end boards such as Golden Harvest and Proffie at a higher price point.
