@@erikerrikson9008 do you have LV? No shade, but you might need to look into your mods or your supporting characters. LV is a monster. Triple tank with piett works almost as good as maul. You just stall out til he ramps up to 2nd or 3rd ult and he just solos jmk squad

The previous two characters were a breath of fresh air for their factions and brought relevancy back to them, and made them more viable. Tralon in comparison just feels lacklustre and doesn’t have the same impact

As much as it sucks making videos with something uninteresting with a new character, it definitely is important to make them still. I would hate if people spent money on a character they love from Star Wars only to be disappointed with their $350 purchase. Hopefully Talon proves to be better down the road but for now definitely something to wait on.

Darth Toenail should’ve been more like Aayla Secura. She could give a sith team counter chance, at least call herself to assist when sith use abilities, just so she can gain more attacks and stacks with frenzy. And since she’s an assassin, she should at least be able to ignore defense or even protection with her leap into stealth

@@AhnaldT101 it’s such a great coincidence you say that because I was doing the galactic challenge and I noticed the rebellious modifier that has a random ally being called to assist. Gonna see if getting 20 stacks in 15 mins is possible 😂

@@miccool9ice363 it was meticulous, with a 3 star gear 11 Toenail, but Palp lead and DRevan lead def have more survivability and can churn out quick consecutive turns. Even my other lower geared Sith, relative to Toenail, could make it to the end of a fight. The more important part, the stacks. I did make it to 20 eventually. It was a nice damage increase for the characters that can utilize it, Revan already hits hard due to stacks of ferocity, but with loyal hand I ended up killing enemies (like Hera for the revives) that I meant to keep alive. To say again, it’s meticulous to get the stacks. It’s probably more worth it at higher gear levels but with how long it takes, you may as well be doing a raid to be able to fully use her stacks. If I do the fight as quick as possible I’ll be at like 5 stacks and all Toenail did was help survive counter attacks

I was worried about omicrons for this reason. You said it would amplify them in certain modes, but I knew it would be the reverse, they’re good in a certain mode, and kinda just bad everywhere else. It forces you to use the omicron materials for the character to even be viable. They’re mode locking zetas basically

I will say this, something seems to be missing, talon omicron seems to be supporting and aspect of the sith trio that they dont have, increasing max protection, but sith trio doesnt care about max protection, so i think something else is in store for them. either 1 more character or some character reworks.

Maybe her damage is low so she doesn’t kill off the isolated character too fast. You will want to keep reducing dark frenzy cooldown for buff immunity, healing, and speed gain. If isolated characters died too fast it would be hard to keep that going.

That seems a bit counter-productive..why would you extend the duration of a kill, to become mildly stronger. That team (Sith Trio) already has abysmal damage, adding another character with abysmal damage seems pointless. My Prot/Defense Scion hits harder than his offense modded Talon with 16 stacks of Dark Hand. Shes pure garbage, and nearly completly redundant outside of GAC (at the moment). Interms of her GAC kit, ya so she gets Buff immunity out, increase speed, offense etc. Is this enough to step Sith Trio into a battle they couldnt normaly win and be successful? Doesnt seem like it . Yea she heals 50% of her dmg dealt, 100% on Scion (her damage is trash anyways).thats still way more useless than Trayas healing off attacking debuffed units. And Scion can already full heal himself by using Held by Hatred and again, when Held by Hatred activstes on death..AGAIN making her redundant. I think teams that already counter Sith Trio, arent gonna have a harder time (not that people place them on Defense). Time will tell, but ilI have no fait in her, her Omicron is EASILY at the bottom of my list until CG addresses her in some way.

@@sadeknight9112 100%. First off, her Ordered Assassination, which should be a high dmg killshot, hits like a noodle, and is evadable. If ANY attacks should "ignore defense" this should, or atleast have incredbily high Def.Pen. and should have "Cannot be Evaded". Shes assassinating them, from behind, and in the air....

Hello Grand Admiral! I know he doesn’t get used with Sith lineups much, but I am very curious how the extra offense could benefit Larry. The problem with Sith trio is that Nihilus is the main way to take down big targets, but the extra offense doesn’t help him much because he just needs to survive until annihilate. Sith trio doesn’t have much use for extra offense. Larry, however, assists on ever ally Sith crit and already has very solid damage. Adding him to the Sith trio with Talon could potentially give them an alternative win condition aside from annihilate. Maybe Nihilus doesn’t even make the cut and SeT takes his spot because Larry assists on his counter attacks if they crit. Love the channel, you do a wonderful job. Always great to be in the empire!

Watching your stream yesterday I was disappointed that she wasn’t what were sold on. Now I do believe that CG may do some things down the road to help her in becoming a better character. I do believe right now that she is 100 percent a support character not an attacker.

CG makes it very misleading. In her event tier IV, if her sacrifice procs off Darth traya and you use her special to obtain those stacks AND you kill 1-2 people off you get 20 stacks instantly. Overall, it seems like an intentional bug CG put in just to make her better than what she actually is… yet, another reason why I don’t play as much.

I’ve only ever spent $95 total in this game and I was SO tempted to whale and spend well over $300 for Talon (I love this character!), but I’m glad you exposed CG’s greed yet again. If they rework her justly then I’d happily spend, but it’s, unfortunately, a pass for me.

You forgot one thing that Talon is very useful for.. She's great for throwing all that extra Kyrotech gear on.. I had so many extra kyros that I had no idea what to do with, and come to find out, Talon loves those things.

This seems to be the new pattern - at release they had very basic characters (some better/worse but nothing truly crazy), then as they added new characters and factions, some of them were meta-defining balance breakers - originally locked behind hero's journey quests that required you to build up other characters (through time or money). Then they started dropping OP characters you can just buy, and now they're dropping pay-to-play new characters with the promise that they'll be totally OP and meta-defining and they are just average.

I have to say though marquee events have always been focused around trying to make characters look OP. I mean look at it, they give you G13 characters (maybe not mods) and match you against modless G8 to make it look like you are wrecking them. That's a massive lie and needs to be fixed IMO. If it's an event with cool parts like dash side scroller cool but if its just normal fight make gear levels even and let's see how good this character really is.

Idk if you saw my comment the other day but I think I did my math wrong and her theoretical output at max stats is in the the 70k-80k at best. Its rough because like you showed, plenty of older trashier characters could outpace her damage, tanks outdamaged her. No excuses for that and they really dropped the ball with defense penetration, would have clearly made her way stronger.

It doesn’t say high single fire damage anywhere in the kit or strategy guide.. it literally talks about “picking off weak characters”. She’s designed to support other sith with the speed and offense not take down a whole team. I know everyone just loves to trash CG but she’s really not that bad. Preventing the troopers counter against revan or CLS counter against trio is good GAs all about creating mismatches

These "high single-fire damage" characters like omega and talon are disappointing by how long it takes to build up this damage. If we're talking about high single-fire damage, Finn is a perfect example of what these characters should be, his basic can deal 100% bonus damage and takedown can deal 500% bonus damage each time a single enemy has been attacked by those abilities, real high single-fire damage

with relic 6, 7 and 8, your missing out on around 1000 offense. With mods, try to get as many offense primaries as you can, even the arrow, but MAYBE the triangle could be crit damage. For the secondaries, you'll want offense % (as flat damage increases don't beat percentages on increases). I reckon when I go for her (as I have a soft spot for her and the Trio) at get her to R8 eventually (and inevitably be needed at R8 for a possible GL), I could potentially get her over 10k offense.

She can help to win more consistently against geos. Traya, sion and she. She can help traya to survive the spy's hit or the opening move from geo's. That might be helpful. 3 ppl the geo team. Maybe even 100% accuracy

Doubtful it work, but you have the means and the powered team. Try a traya lead with nihilus and sion, then sith assassin and talon. May work. Talon is a supporter lol and constantly use SAs dark shroud generating nice speed boost. Again idk if it will help

Shes good if you dont have a 7* traya. Sometimes struggle because traya gets insta killed at g11...with talon I can save the entire battle
