We went to Hollywood Studios in Orlando and signed the kids up for the Jedi training. Our Daughter is first to fight. We don't know the kid in the middle but he did the fight the right way. Then We have Rex our 5 year old son! He was a little to tough for Darth Vader!! LOL

People like these create the best memories for kids. Went to Paris with my niece (7 year old) last weekend. On Star Wars ride (The Adventure continues) there was a very good guide, who when he saw that she does not speak neither French nor English and I had to translate to her what he is saying started trying various Star Wars languages (Wookie and Jawa are the only one I recognised but I think he used three). It was hilarious and she asked for a photo with him afterwards because despite no common language (that I know of) he was able to salvage the situation in a way that made not just a kid laugh (rather than just looking at me translating which could bother others around us) but also was incredibly fitting the scene and made everyone at least chuckle while I checked her belt etc. He made a situation where a kid who had no idea what is being spoken to her comfortable and fun. I think that her asking for a photo made his day too.

@@youraveragenobody8138 Thanks, actually it's a bit of an informal experiment - I have tried putting this comment in different video contexts, after it took off pretty well the first time i used it in a video about the fabled high ground, just to see what difference it would make, in terms of how it inflected on the video, how many views that video had, how recent they were etc ... I work in a performative communications department at a local university so it's kind of loosely related to that interest in media. I probably ruined any experimental value by writing about it xD but thanks for the kind words, I had good fun with the comment too :)

I agree with you so much, this kind of performance is really underrated. I’m used to these guides being the lamest dudes out here for real. This one guy literally said “I don’t see any sith academies around here, do yo? So you have two choices- you can stay and fight or you can go to the back of the line.” Wise ass actors like that needa be let go, ain’t no way in hell imma drop a bag on taking my child to Disney world for them to talk to them like that. I was really glad to see how well this one handled kids breaking the unspoken script to make sure the kids come first

@@chrisc4208 To be fair, they can't allow any Sith academy shenanigans or they might get fired, so the pressure is real. This one is definitely above and beyond though. Also, keep in mind that the Jedi in Florida tend to be a lot less friendly than the ones in California, (This particular guy is a more than welcome exception) and they're always between a figurative rock and hard place with this particular job. They have to adhere to the guidelines, but they also have to make sure the kid is having a good time. Though I'll be honest, the "You can stay or go to the back of the line" isn't even the bottom of the barrel sadly

I remember when I did this, they pick the most convincing kid to go up against the Stormtroopers, I remembered the moves and hit the hardest and the the Stormtroopers stepped in, it was like a dream come true. I messed up the part with the Stormtroopers because they used to each pretend to shoot at you and you would deflect it into them and they would pretend to choke so I got ready to deflect it but then they said to used the force to push them. The kid in this video might have had the same idea. I almost thought he could have been me but it wasn’t night when I did it.
