In this episode I unbox and Review the 2005 Darth Vader ESB Force FX Lightsaber from Master Replicas that I found on Facebook Marketplace
FX Sabers were produced between 2002 and 2007 and are no longer comercially available and can only be bought or sold from resellers
License for FX Sabers was taken over by Hasbro in 2008 and labeled under their Black Series collection
Hasbro has only produced the ANH Vader saber currently, which is why the ESB version is sought after more

Bought this one at Comic Con in 2005. Didn’t know they made different ANH, ESB or ROTJ versions. Assumed they were all the same before I learned more about the variations. For a long time I wondered why mine looked different from other MR Vader sabers I saw. Thought mine was a blem for missing some parts😂. l Wanted a Mace Windy saber but they had just sold out, so settled for this ESB Vader saber. $99+tax back then. Too bad I tossed the box, but I still have the saber in near mint condition with the original provided display stand. Works perfectly too. Better and louder sound FX than my son’s Savi’s Workshop custom saber. Louder too and still bright as new.

I bought the Black Series Vader version a couple of years ago. In the original box and brand new off Ebay for a mere $220 AUD. My very first Lightsaber. It's a beautiful replica and a worthy display piece. I bought the Black Series 3 piece Vader helmet/mask the very next year to go on display with it. Congrats on getting a beautiful display piece man.

Dam I got one its displayed in my office from 2005 its a bit battered up cause thats how it was given to me. But those are easy fixes Im just to lazy to fix those problems. It was given to me out the box.
