After watching the prequel movies you realize Vader was just toying around when fighting Luke. He never intended to kill him. Luke would have been killed a few minutes after meeting Vader in Empire Strikes Back if Vader had wanted to kill him. The fight between Vader and Obi-Wan in A New Hope was more of a conversation while they played around with their lightsabers.

Well Disney has dropped the ball on alot of stuff, that last trilogy sucked, bringing back the emperor was stupid, they could have written in a badass sith lord, that was stronger than the emperor, but no! They had to beat on that dead horse. I like Star wars and I'm big fan, but I'm not afraid to call something out for what it is. It's like those Metallica fans that think every album they've ever released is great, the last good album that band put out was .....and justice for all, but you have fans that will go buy anything and claim they love everything and and that it's all good. Metallica could fart on a album and they'll go buy it and claim it's great. I'm glad Disney is making a lot of star wars movies and series, but not all of them are great. Some people can't be honest with themselves, and this franchise, if Obi wan and Darth Vader were blasting force farts at each other, instead of using light sabers, the die hards would love it..

Yes, voice of James Earl Jones. Im not trying to take anything away from his contribution, but David Prowse was literally what made his iconic movments so intimidating and powerful. He gets very little respect, which is surprising to see from even real fans. R.I.P. DP and JJ. Without either, Vader wouldn't have made such an impact on so many.
