In the theater when Yoda pulled his cloth aside revealing his lightsaber, the entire movie theater became a rumbling of gasps and awe.. and then the fight started and the entirety of the theater erupted in uncontrollable laughter. Although it was indeed awesome, it was equally ludicrous and hilarious. lol.

It was subtle and more spiritual than anything originally. What happened was the people behind the prequels were too lazy and unoriginal to come up with anything better than this. This seriously was the most lazy and unoriginal thing you could come up with to how Yoda would fight. In fact, just compare the lightsaber duels in both series. The realism and subtlety in the original made them far more compelling than this CGI crap.

Absolutely not. You never use the wise master too much, because their wisdom is supposed to be grander than reality. The more you use the master, the magic of his grandeur slips away through human creation. Yoda was used the right amount.

Yoda was underrated in the films, but in TCW, he was a badass and those battles he did truly showed it! Obviously I know that the Jedi were forced to be on the front lines as they weren't soldiers, but keepers of the peace, but with the CW, they had no choice but to be on the front lines and lead by example. The war did make them soldiers, but again, Yoda was a badass when it came to battles!

I'm not so sure. Palpatine had been planning for decades, covering every little detail and readying countermeasures for everything he could think of. He left virtually nothing to chance. He planned everything to make it look like the Jedi tried to launch a coup so he knew some Jedi would be coming to arrest him even if he didn't know exactly who it would be. Therefore I'm sure that his plans would have included ways to defeat whichever Jedi came to try and stop him. Especially the strongest ones like Yoda. Palpatine wouldn't have let decades of work go to waste by being unprepared at the very last hurdle. It's why I also have a problem with Mace Windu defeating Palpatine in their lightsaber fight in his office. Palpatine would surely have planned a way to counter Wndu's Vapaad and to defeat him long in advance of that final night. To have not had all that planned out would be totally out of character for Palpatine.

It's plausible that Palpatine didn't lose to Mace Windu but planned it knowing Anakin was about to show up. He needed to appear weak and defenseless to further turn Anakin. You notice how Palpatine gets slightly more "frail" when Anakin shows up and even "begs" Anakin to help him. Which we both know is something Sidious would never do seriously.
