@@Zulushi although Dune heavily influenced Star Wars, the original film was based on Hidden Fortress by legendary japanese director Akira Kurosawa, in fact jedi comes from the name of the japanese period drama genre "jidaigeki" (jidai = jedi) and originally wanted famous japanese actor Toshiro Mifune to play Obi Wan since the character was inspired by Mifunes character in Hidden Fortress, but Mifune turned it down because he felt it would look "cheap" im a massive Kurosawa and Mifune nerd, and i just love every oppertunity to mention how Star Wars was a sci fi version of one of his films
