Darton Spectra E32 review with MFJJ!!

I partnered my Spectra E with Redline stabilizer system and it's really hard to find that vibration. Sick shooting bow in my humble opinion. I love their new limb graphics and camo patterns they've been rolling out as well. Solid quick review man, nicely done.

Nice to see a Darton. Used to have a Lightning in the day. It would be considered fast even today. Now that Darton is no longer under the leadership of Rex Darlington, it’s nice to see they continue to have innovative aspects in their bows. Good review as usual.

All the tech on that bow is do to Rex . Rex is still designing for Darton the guy is in his 80’s and it was time for him to stop working 7 days week.

Nock fit, qad -hamskea long range accuracy. Release hand tension at full draw, best hip quiver, battle of the peeps. Just ideas. Good video as usual

Darton (rex darlington ) has always been ahead of time with innovation and technology. But the marketing is sub par . The whole " binary" cam system that bowtech markets is all the work and design of Darton . Darton bows are my favorite not because of outdoor channel comercials either haha they shot consistent and fast! Side note darton and pse have more archery design patents than anyone else including earl hoyt and matt mcphearson

I've spoken with Darton as a dealer, I like their product but they know their machining will need to be "sexier" for for aesthetic appeal. More colors were recently added. The Spectra E has been one of the easiest bows to tune this year for me. I'm not a Mathews dealer and our local dealer doesn't take the time to even measure peep height or tie them I properly so I've been working on the Hoyts and mathews they sell. Darton is easier.

Hey MJJ Always learning from you and like seeing your content on ELK SHAPE.. Interesting you talked about the Darton being built for longevity and implied maintenance free! I can't speak for other bow manufactures But I shoot a cica 2009 Darton Pro 3500 and other than routine maintenance my bow still shoots bullet holes thru paper. I have two friends that shoot both the Lighting and the Maverick; These bows must be 15 yrs old and still shoot great... If it's not broke don't fix it !! I keep wanting to buy a new bow every season, But then I shoot mine and ask my self why? Darton doesn't get much attention these days and is under new ownership but in the 1990's they were innovators.. I remember the first Darton Bow I saw belonged to my uncle Joe who was and avid hunter.. Retired career Navy! Joined when he was 16 to get out of poverty and the slums of Phil. He was a Frogman Which was the precursor to the Navy Seal... Most gentle and fiercest warrior I ever knew! He was my hero! Even when he was 70 . he was a force to be reckoned with! RIP

It would've been nice to see what your total arrow weight was. I believe ibo is measured at minimum 5grains per pound. I know with my Darton 3900 (almost 73# 29dl)I was getting 347fps with a 368gn arrow. That ones ibo was 350-355. Victory rip xv is probably the lightest arrow I know that would be great for these test

You should shoot the BEAR EKO/flagship bows.... I tried every bow I could get my hands on and IMO the top end BEAR bows were every bit as good (smoother draw, good speed, little to no vibrations) as anything short of the Mathews V3 I wanted most at the time. I just bought a V3X 33 but my Divergent EKO is still a shooter that I've taken a fair few Mulies with out in Idaho and it's my go to bow for tight/steep country or blind hunting. I think it's odd how people look down on BEAR as if all they make are low-end RTH bows... In my experience the only thing I've shot that's outright "better" is the V3x.

I heard when a manufacturer tests speed, they take the highest from a Hooter Shooter with no nock, nothing on the string, at 70.5 lbs. IBO allows 1/2 lbs difference allowance.

Sorry I'm a couple days behind. This video idea isn't related to the Darton but could you review or discuss the Firenock AeroBump String Stop and Titanium bolt kits. I am very curious if the Titanium string stop is a good idea to reduce vibration and reduce arrow oscillation? Thanks, Scott

try out the nexxus micro diameter arrows with the titanium/ aluminum outsert i used them and i like them. the titanium arrow outserts are believed to shoot through anything and still be considered a working arrow since they’re so strong

Josh do a video on blackgold sight. Using a left handed sight ring on a right hand sight. Some people might want the bubble on the top. And might get the bottom pin lower in the housing. If you look at the ring theres a place on the top and bottom where black gold glues in the bubbles.

Josh deserves an award for what he has done for archery. I’ve learned more from that dude than anyone. Go into SVA and you will come out with an education in flinging arrows, if you visit enough. What I like the most is he’s down to help you with working on your own bow.

You need a lab radar Chrono your bows always shoot slower than everyone else's not standing up for the bows performances but something is not right every bow you test my bow shop has and when I shoot through the lab radar and the shops crono I'm usually 10 fps faster than everything you've tested
