Hi Buddy Are you recording and watching your throw regularly if you can slow it down you may have a misaligned hand or wrist the stop should mean you dont tend to stray if you have it right cheers Dave...

Yeah thanks. Could you do a vid on the way stems and flights effect the way the dart flys and how it can change the way it sits in the board? I'm only new to the game so forgive me if this is a dumb question.
@DynamiteDaveLlewellyn6 жыл бұрын
No questions are ever Dumb if you are new to the game you are in the best place ever because you have not become entrenched in how you play trying to tell someone who's been playing years can be a nightmare. Tweaking flights and stems can be a bit of a utopia to be honest. My advice is to start with standard flights and one set of each length of stem you could buy a tune up kit from darts corner or the like. flights are a different story they either add or subtract stability the smaller the flight the less stable it will be and usually you darts will land below the horizontal in the board like Phil Taylor this is only any good if your a stacker Ie if you throw one dart and can stacker the others on top. Like Phil does. i will do a video on this as soon as i can .

Dave thanks for your hard work and expertise, may I ask you please regarding focusing on the treble twenty as I am left eye dominant, how should I face the board or should I ignore the dominant eye and just focus on the treble twenty with a central vision. Regards Linerforce

Another thing im doing is using the Russ Bray app but in a Tournament way i start at Level 1 as the first round and then move it by two every time i win same with the amount of legs to win and then the Final is Level 10.

You are such an nice person, would have Love to just meet you and have a chat and play some darts. I have a problem tho. I have played for a year. And i have hit 5 180s, but thats not everything, but when i get 3darts In the same area, i feel that Im making it right. The problem i have is how to "aim". DO you just throw the same and just watch your target, or do you change your body or arm to the target? DO you stand exact the same if you going to hit 20, as double 10?

Dave could you please do a short video on the vertical levelness and wrist bend of your left (throwing) arm & hand at setup? Im just not sure if it's a fundamental or something that happens naturally.My elbow is a little left of my hand at setup, in order to get my elbow directly under my hand I feel like I have to externally rotate my arm inward which doesn't feel normal. Thank you Sir
@DynamiteDaveLlewellyn6 жыл бұрын
Hi Rackum i will do the video soon but one thing i will tell you is getting a mechanical throw will feel very un natural at first i spent 2 years building my throw to the level it is now. So persevere it will pay you well in time.
@rackum446 жыл бұрын
david llewellyn my throw and setup doesn't feel unnatural only if I make my elbow get directly under my hand at setup.
@triptin246 жыл бұрын
rackum44 I'm no pro or nothing but I done alot of martial arts. Just a guess you may be standing ether too straight on or too much side on. Hopefully dave has the answers. 😊
