The whole Code Players range looked amazing imo. The price is a bit steep but it's a premium product.

I've just bought a used set of these Ando Code darts and I'm loving them. They are very similar to Ando's standard ring grip darts but I'm convinced that the machining of the rings is slightly different and has produced a grippier feel.

Hi Darren, I love the style and shape of the Gary Anderson dart to the point I bought the high impact 2. They were £35 ish and they look almost identical to the code, other than the rainbow shading and the deeper indented code section. If the ones I bought had the same presentation case then I'd be prepared to split the difference but I couldn't justify spending that amount on something that you can get colourless for less than half the price. Needed to be a bit more special and unique for me to command £80+. Great review nonetheless and all the best 👍🍻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The coating is between the rings so it'll probably last a bit better than a fully coated dart.

Thanks Vic, its a ti coating so should last well, not the kind of coating that chips off but the rings will get chipped. I thought the finger was a little better the other day but then it just started hurting as much as before, got some marine collagen supplements, going to give them a try but doubt it will help.

Great review, £85 quid for a set of darts that are over 0.1g away from the advertised weight and you don't even get a case. I am a Unicorn fan but their recent pricing is unbelievable.

its actually very nice on these but I think its a kind of hit an miss coating, sometimes it comes out very strong and colourful and other times its kind of washed out, but nice on these ones :)

I know its just a matter of opinion and everyone has their own, but a blue ti coating rather than DNA rainbow one would've looked much better in my opinion. Especially for the Ando set.

Milking the cow is what we say over here in Belgium.So we got the one with one blue stripe,the one with the two blue stripes,the goldcoated one with the two blue lines,the special edition,the black one and the one with the dna code bullcrap on it.Unicorn does not make darts for the players anymore,they make darts for the collectors,ffs.Still love my set with the one blue stripe though =).Oh and by the way,Gary changed darts,it's time to color those old sets of his!!

Yeah I think it did, understandable in many ways but I think if the price was lower it may have been different as not really sure what else can be done to a players barrel without making it a totally different dart?

@@DartsReviewChannel for sure. And really, cheaper alternatives exist. Its hard to keep updating with darts yearly release schedule, and now they're in a really unenviable position. As a consumer, my only advice is lower it to the same price as the DNA, it won't make me buy it but perhaps it will improve from there.

I think with the Andos its always going to be a case of many other darts that are cheaper alternatives as its the classic straight barrel ring grip :)
