Mwana Mawa by Grand Pizza was the in thing vibe in 70's, revibrating the entire disco world. No apologies were made for frustrating the efforts to draw the attention of the short guys. Turn up bell-bottoms were the jinx. Kavacha was the style - quite intimidating!! Time heals. Dr. Ogeto International

"Kila nini tokabwana,yo Zairois ngai mpe Zairoise." This song is a plea for an end to tribalism.A girl wants to get married to someone from a different tribe,and people,are opposed to it,so she is saying,"We might be from different ethnicities,but you are a Zairen, and I'm a Zairean too." Great song,great message.

Bw. Darubini! I personally appreciate your work which actually take back in those years. It is my observation that you could put on your introductory part, at least some of the Musicians who took part in a particular song. Example I remember the one Called Makengo Roy who actually was a leader of this group.
@Darubini25 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I do not always have details on the bands. However, more often than not, other viewers/listeners submit comments that contain more information on the bands or musicians. You may have to scroll down and read most of the posts to glean information you may be interested in. Many of the songs I have came to me in digital format, 45s or tapes. Generally only the LPs will contain details.
