I listened to this in the car a couple weeks ago and you did such a great job! I've been following you on TikTok for quite a while so it's great to see you getting more exposure. We just moved into a new home in Millcreek that is going to need some attention in the landscaping department and my husband was commenting that we should hire someone to help us come up with a plan; I said that I know of just the person!

I love your content. I’m curious why you recommend a blend of micro clover, fescue and yarrow as an alternative lawn vs just yarrow. I can’t find cons of doing just yarrow anywhere and my husband wants to do it. I’m leaning toward a blend. Would love any thoughts

It mostly comes down to nutrient diversity. Clover is a great nitrogen fixer for soil, which in turn will keep the fescue and yarrow very happy. Fescue helps the feel of the ground cover come across a lot more turf like. Yarrow is just a hands-down winner and can be very pollinator friendly if allowed to grow to its flowering height! Otherwise, just keep it mowed at about 3-4 inches and it will emulate a turf ground cover very nicely!
