Joe is one of the coolest American guitarists. I’ve been a fan of his since the mid 70’s. To say he had an influence on the Eagles is an understatement. I’m so glad he survived his substance abuse demons that so many greats had but didn’t make it.

In 1975 i was 15 years old, based in Austria. I met a Canadian guy, who was on holidays and he gave me as a present the Album Joe Walsh - The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get. Now I have all on vinyl. James Gang aso. I love all albums of James Gang and the solo records of Joe Walsh But I still have not only one record of the Eagles. I will survive it... 😎BTW: Rocky Mountain Way is not only just another of my favorite rock songs. And THIS Vid is pure sensation. THANKS SO MUCH, DARYL "The living Legend" HALL. I am so glad I lived in the 60's and 70's and lived all that great music and bands. I could name 50 bands off the top of my head, if not more, that were killer bands and the kids today have no idea the music we had to listen to, jam to with friends and play in our friends studios or cellars. It was a great time to be alive and it is a shame we are losing so many of the great musicians we loved which is why these videos are to be treasured!!!

Daryl has one of the tightest bands I've even seen. What they don't show us is how hard they work when learning and rehearsing every new song. I'll bet there was a couple of hours of learning experience before they got it down for this five or six minutes of flawless performance.

This was the first song I ever heard from Joe back when I was around fourteen in 1973 and playing guitar since I was twelve, got me into slide and had a huge influence on my playing general.in short he's my kind of guitar player.
