Though this is not exactly a melodic song for me, I focussed on Daryl's voice, which I think this song strongly showcased. The tone, runs, riffs, high register, low register, dynamics and the emotion put into the song--this performance puts Daryl into an even higher level of the trademarks of a great vocalist.

Ok so I found your channel recently after trying to learn the song jealous. Dude, I think I’ve listened to your version over 50 times..the best I’ve heard. In fact all the covers you have are excellently done...better than the original. You owned all of them. Rifts and runs are perfect and perfectly placed. You got a hell of voice man. @@rgmonasterial To each their own! Daryl Ong's interpretation is the only reason I even remember or enjoy this song. I paid it no nevermind when it first came out because it was just another typical pop song-not horrible, not great. .....but THIS rendition with Daryl, I think I must have listened to this a thousand times already and will probably listen to it several thousand more. All the nuances and inflection in his voice just takes it up another level :)
