One of the most sophisticated bands, one of the greatest albums. I love steely Dan and I was born after Gaucho. One could study only them and become a great musician.

Every song on this album was a gem. The peak of SD's creativity in writing and performances. Have used it a thousand times to help perfect my drumming, especially improving feel and subtle phrasing. Thanks guys.

Is the young guitarist seen in many of these Steely Dan studio videos the same guy who now plays with The Eagles and does a lot of the guitar solos from their old work? Looks like the same guy. A really phenomenal player. Anyone know?
