Well put. Stephanie Meyer did get the part of Midsummer Night's Dream being a romantic comedy of errors solved by fairy intervention, but she apparently failed to see that the fairies themselves (mostly Puck) was also part of this comedy of errors. In fact, she failed to see that Puck and the fairies are ultimately responsible for the magical comedy of errors in the first place.

The contempt for Stephanie Meyer is...almost nostalgic

you are so right about that fight though, the cullens had all this firepower on their side so how in the hell could they have lost to the volturi its impossible. i think she was just being lazy and didnt want to write a good fight seen for her readers and the fact that she says that this book has a great ending excuse me while i scream bloody murder really quickly.

I just realized that during Bella's 'Blackout' nobody went up to check on her during Halloween,Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years? I guess in Meyer land they don't believe in holidays. So I also assume during this time Bella didn't even eat?

*cont*The Elizabethans did fear the faeries, but I think that he was trying to get across that you shouldn't fear them. That said, I do have to agree it was fucked up what happened. Just not as bad as the King could've been. I also get uncomfortable when she talks about her kids. I mean, you pretty much stated it all, but Renesmee, the baby that raises itself... You might as well get a Chia Child like some Timothy Green shit.

Lol Dean you kick that fae butt! But anyways, I thought the moral of the story is that you SHOULDN'T fear the faeries? Yeah, Oberon pretty much mind raped the one guy (ccan't remember his name), but it was for benevolent reasons. It was a lot nicer than what he could've done. Titania even took care of the Changeling boy because his mother was one of her worshippers. That, together with Puck's speech at the end made me think that Shakespeare was speaking AGAINST the common fears of the time.
