Thank you so much for capturing my father’s amazing knowledge. He dedicated this life to Sikhi and Buddha Dal. He took Amrit in 1979 at the age of 20 years old at Loghar Sahib. He had his Nitnem Kantah at the age of 20. His sangat included Harkirat Singh Agani, Amarjit Singh Mohali, Malkit Singh Loghar Sahib Jathedar, and many more charkarvarti singhs. They directly did seva of Baba Santa Singh and Surjit Singh. His legacy will be the sangat all over North America and UK.

I was thinking about Jordan Peterson along the same lines Since I started reading Shri Dasam Granth two years ago. A lot of what Peterson says like "be a monster and have it under control" aligns perfectly with core Sikh concepts and Dasam Maharaj puts it out more directly.

At 1:13:30, I have heard of one saint ji who was called vadde mahapurakh there. He was in so high spiritual state that one brahmin came to him by thinking in mind that if he really is true saint .. give me darshan in roop of krishan ji. Then that saint ji gave him darshan in roop of krishan bhagwan. Thats the thing that leads to fact that khalsa is ‘Pura’. Nothing is left when one becomes Khalsa.

Have you ever read the 500 plus pages of the charitropakhyan, which form the majority of the so called dasam granth ? One should do that before going ga ga over the racy martial poems in that book which have nothing to do with Sikhism. The chandi, mundi, bhagauti, kalika, durga. kali are all hindu devis which the hindu Rajput warriors used to worship.They used to listen to ancecdotal poems\ballads based on the stories of these deities fighting with and defeating demons. This was their way of getting enthusiastic about fighting wars routinely. These Rajputs were warlike. However, like 99% hindus they did not have the concept of Akal Purakh the one and only Creator God who created evert thing including the chandi mundi kali, 24 avtaars and myriads of more beings like that. You should read the charitropakhyan befrore forming any opinions about this dasam book and other literature like that. I read just a few pages of the indecent and bawdy stories and was appalled. They are so far removed from any spiritual and religious outlook, specially from the Gurbani that I find it hard to trust anyone who connects such writings to the Guru Sahib. Our admiration and emotional, sentimental needs should be second to the truth and to our respect for our Guru Sahib.
