Going downhill or up it is a beautiful drive ❤.

I love putting myself in the mindset of the highway engineer who figured out where to locate the road. The way they balance the cuts and fills, while maintaining good alignment, is fantastic on a road like this. I've driven my class A over the second part of your journey.

Made that trip last year for the first time. My F350 with a 7.3 gasser did just fine pulling & pushing our 8400# tt. The 10 spd tranny held the hills very well both up and down only using the brakes a couple of times. The shock was looking at my digital mpg readout going up those long hills . Thank goodness the downhills made it all average out. Gas at Furnace creek was $7.50 gal but I took on 10 g's not knowing what else I may face. Turned out I really didn't need it, but better safe than sorry with so few services from one end to the other. Well worth the drive though.

😂I was a little confused with the abrupt end of the video. I thought I was having technical difficulties.
