I would like to thank the Producer's of these Video Logs. Impeccably brought together, with fine editing, music to 'die for' and the scenery of Australia (towns/city's/urban streets/rural scenes) - is so stunning - a pity about the driving. In other videos I have asked "where are the Police" strange, that on sunny day, they are doing "drink driving tests"! It would be interesting to be "a fly on the all" of an Insurance Company, each morning when the accumulative Claims, for all car accidents are opened for consideration. I wonder if the staff have a "silent room", where they can congregate, each morning, and have a communal cry, over the Claims for car "incidents & accidents"- (head nod to Simon & Garfunkel for the use of those words) that have now landed on desks!! The only thing I can commend, Aussie Drivers - is your "health & safety" approach to ducks & family crossing the road.

Here in the UK we have what's called a Postcode Lottery - depending on which police force you report dashcam incidents to (some with online reporting tools/websites) will depend on whether action is taken (even if they include online reporting) - my police farce requires a written statement in legal (court ready) jargon (aka they want to discourage reporting so they can dance for tiktok or arrest someone typing hurty words online with 4 cars/7 officers) Just a PSA to those who haven't thought/questioned it - try to readout the rego (if your dashcam catches audio) yes dashcams have improved but you'll still see many clips where rego is unreadable

There's no giveaway line. Not sure how it works in Australia, in the UK whoever gets there first has priority - people might expect the driver of the turning vehicle to give way - but if there's no sign or road markings, there's no requirement.

Yes, there are cameras but mainly for operational purposes - not law enforcement. (Although, I'm sure footage is occasionally passed to police.) Generally, speed limit in tunnels is no more than 80km/h. Lane changes in tunnels are usually allowed.

Actually the first clip is an honest clip where the driver obviously knows he made a mistake and has the humility to submit his mistake - he misjudged the width of his vehicle or simply didnt see the car he hit, i suspect he misjudged as you can clearly see he moves out to the right of the road. It was a mistake as opposed the deliberately self centered self entitled boganism that is contained in most of the clips - Im far more pissed off at the pricks who use an emergency lane because they're special..

The dc vehicle at 15:00 is totally at fault not the truck. If you look closely you can see the truck indicated just as the overtaking lane starts and even merged over before the dc vehicle. The dc vehicle didnt even wait for the lane to open up properly or have good enough visibility to see around the truck to make sure overtaking was safe.
