Yep, there's a 99% chance that this is going back to Amazon. The instructions are useless as far as explaining how to properly use this machine to get the proper cut and I'm not wasting anymore vegetables trying to guess at all the different angles the knobs can be at.

Cuts fine, my only issue is cleaning the darn thing. Food gets stuck in plastic part under the blade and not easy to clean. Kinda annoying

Your SafeSlice™ Mandoline is top-rack dishwasher safe, so you can easily clean it in the dishwasher. 2. Use the included Cleaning Brush to dislodge any food particles from the Blade. Exercise caution when using the brush, and never put your fingers near the Blade. 3. For stubborn stains caused by colorful or juicy foods like beets, gently wipe down the appliance with cooking oil to remove the stain. 4. Softer fruits and vegetables may not slice evenly and can get stuck on the blades, making cleaning difficult. To avoid this, use harder vegetables for more consistent slicing. Hey guys...I bought one too. did you discover it is a piece of .......... Spent 50.00 on this thing that came with no instruction. I experimented with a potato and the whole mechanism clogged up right away. I want to discourage anyone looking for a review that this product is pretty much a joke. Don't waste your money.
