No, it will not touch a thing in the existing wiring. There is no such issue of overheating until now, works like a gem

You are right there is only one slot. We use a wireless android auto and Apple car play. So not a problem for us. Other way is to extend the wire and connect it to slot under armrest.

Thanks for the video. I got the same dashcam installed on my harrier. Becoz I had to shift my mobile phone power source to port under arm rest to accommodate for dash cam the android auto has stopped working. Did you face the same issue.? Pls advice

No, below the infotainment system there is a usb port, I use that as a power source for dashcam. Haven't faced any issues with Android auto.

We found no such product in the market. While there are dashcams like Transcend that feature built-in batteries, their primary power source still relies on a connection to the car.
