My poor old car's engine was dying and just couldn't go up fast, infact it was loosing speed :( The truck behind me obviously thought I was doing it on purpose and pushed me up the hill for a few minutes, till I was over the crest. I am the last video a few points as i'm reading the comments 1. Truck was fined 2. We were going the speed limit, and we were exiting the highway, he cut accross 3 lanes, hense the fine. 3. We all sustained injuries from this accident, he admitted racing to jimboomba to beat knights towing to the job. 4. We were not in his blindspot we weren't near him, in the video you can see we are always in front of him by a almost a car length, he almost took out 4 other cars. 5. Does not surprise me one bit. I've seen dozens of people ignore a man in a disability scooter trying to cross a slip lane. That's a "Give Way" sign not a "Aah, Do Whatever Ya Want" sign. I had to step out and stop the twelfth car and get him to stop so the poor bugger could cross to the main set of lights. Driving on dusk coming up to Qld, and due to roadworks the speed limit went to 80. NOT for the truck behind me though! Nope, he sat on my a$$ even though construction made it only 1 lane. Tried slowing/accelerating > nothing got rid of him. Couldn't pull over because there was no way to squeeze past me if I did. Mega angry, and mega scared, with a huge truck nearly touching my bumper. Finally after so many Ks was able to pull over quickly to the side. I worked out, don't drive at night on the outback highways, trucks don't slow down!

Truck drivers like him are only forced to encourage you to speed up, you can clearly see the 2 drivers of the cars are travelling under 10km/h less than the speed limit which is illegal to start with and dangerous driving, the dickhead in the car recording made it extremely hard for the truck driver and either should have slowed down to create space for the b double behind to fit in-front of him or overtaken the slow car to allow the 2 trucks behind to do the same. At 10-15km/h speed variation of the speed limit and the cars speed the truck would have required over 3km's to overtake safely and it was extremely patient of him not to flash the driver or tailgate him at least to hurry him up. As a driver trainer it is regular training for heavy vehicle operators to be taught to be patient and then if you notice a slow or inattentive vehicle in-front of them to simply flash their high beams once to wake them up.

If youre not at work and youre doing 15km under and there are people behind you who ARE at work and on a strict schedule, just slow down more and move left a but so they can get around you, instead of being a selfish fool who thinks that theyre in the right for holding up traffic. If you cant do up to 95% of the limit, take smaller roads with lower limits so you're not so afraid of traffic.

@@lesstockley4937 Thankfully you are wrong, check out mylicense SA offenses and penalties for more information or google ARR 20 RT RR Regs 8(1) for example to show you 3 offenses you would be committing to start with. If you are in another state then check out relevant state legislation and expiation fee's. However to answer your question the slow cars behind should either slow down to allow a safe gap for someone who wishes to do the speed limit to pass or to overtake the slow vehicles and not create a dangerous situation. For example if you have 6 cars in a row that are all happy to cruise doing 90 or 95km/h an hour then leave significant space in between for trucks or other cars not to have to overtake safely would have avoided the situation as videoed.
