Monument Valley is a sacred place for the Native Americans and one of the most iconic destinations in the USA.
It is located on The Colorado Plateau at 5,000 - 6,000 ft (1,500-1,800 m) above sea level in Utah and Arizona.
US Highway 163, going through Monument Valley, is one of the most famous scenic roads in the US.
The drive starts in Bluff, Utah, goes on US-163 to Monument Valley, and then to Kayenta, Arizona.

My precious memories! The first trip from Kayenta to Monument Valley to Mexican Hat was with my husband. The second trip was with my dearest friend, Ann. This video brings such sweet memories. My husband died in 2021 from effects of cancer. Six months later, my best friend died in a terrible automobile accident. I have tears in my eyes as I remember. Thank you for this video. ❤ edited…I am disappointed that you didn’t take the pull-off to show the Mexican Hat formation.
