I remember searching Taro Kudo up a couple of years and was absolutely shocked and saddened to see that he hadn’t composed anything recently either. He’s got some serious musical talent. Although it should be noted that Taro Kudo wasn’t the sole composer of _Super Castlevania 4,_ as Masanori Adachi helped out as well. I’m not sure if either Kudo or Adachi was the sole composer of “Simon’s Theme,” or if it was co-composed, though.

I remember when this first came out on super nintendo. At the mall you had these kiosks where you could try the game. The sheer creepiness of the game and the seemingly impossible odds Simon was facing plus this awesome heroic ballad of Simon gave you chills watching ppl play. You were almost too scared to play it but you wanted to be that hero at the kiosk destroying all the monsters as ppl looked on in awe.
